It holds 1.5 gallons of paint and has a corner trough to help empty leftover paint back into the bucket.  This tray definitely will hold up in commercial use and is the best tray Ive seen yet.

Very Functional Paint Tray for Hobbyists, Pros

The groves on the tray helped to get the excess paint off my roller.  It held enough paint for my whole project and the clean up was so easy.  It really made my dreaded painting project enjoyable.

I liked much about this tray, and the 18 inches made the job go by faster BUT... I still can't figure out why there are the two slits on the sides. Paint flows into these areas and just sits there to get tacky. What purpose do they serve? Other than that, the tray is excellent.
