After purchasing a humidifier about a year ago, we realized we also needed a filter to eliminate the “dust” that is so prevalent in our climate. These filters work very well so we order them when needed. We highly recommend these filters.

A great addition to my Pure humidifier to help with hard water minerals.

Decalcification Cartridge

This is such an easy simple cartridge. It just replaced the regular screw cap. It just makes sense to have a cartridge when you love something, as I do this humidifier, to keep it in good working order. Make sure and save your regular screw cap. When I clean with vinegar I add water and keep it turned up and upside down about 30 minutes each. I don't think you should use your filter cap when cleaning.

SO EASY

This humidifier is wonderful.  Very quiet and the mist is fine.  Totally recommend purchasing this product.

Totally recommend this product

I love the fact that I can decalcify my hard water in the humidifier but I am really torn because I don't know how I can recycle this cartridge and I so wish there was a takeback program where you re-purpose or re-fill them somehow or at the very least, recycle them. Also bothers me a bit that you ask for a review and then make me agree to a disclaimer.

I'm really glad I don't have to clean out calcium buildup, but the intake holes are way at the top so it will stop humidifying when my tank is still halfway full since it won't let anymore water in the filter.

Does it's job

Tried the product with filtered water and it stops unit before water runs out. Save your money, don't buy the cartridge!

Not Worth It!

I love this humidifier so I really wanted to love this cartridge. Unfortunately I do not. Not only does it make glugging sounds, but I get more white dust from the unit, and the ultrasonic unit shows a lot of build up in less than a week. I've removed this cartridge and have gone back to the floating decalcification capsule from the hardware store.

Really wanted to love this

This thing doesn't work. It worked for a couple of hours and then the humidifier started flashing red even though the tank was still half full. I filled the tank again but didn't work. I just put back my regular cap back and it's working. Maybe I got a defected one?

Not working

Bought this with the humidifier and tried both with and without despite some of the negative reviews. The humidifier works great without the cartridge but functions poorly even on the higher setting with it. Ditched the cartridge after one attempted use.
