Initial setup requires minimal effort and is quickly completed.

Can be intuitive, but also inconsistent for some users.

After my trusty old Braun drip coffee maker finally died, I purchased a new Braun for my morning coffee ritual. I wanted a simple, straightforward appliance that put quality above bells and whistles. This coffee maker did not disappoint. It makes fresh-tasting, satisfying coffee that stays hot. I am not a cold brew drinker, so I can't speak to that feature, but my morning coffee ritual continues once again.

If you like quality over bells and whistles

This makes really hot coffee so we keep the heat setting in low. You will need the instruction booklet handy because the buttons all do different functions and you have to press them a different number of times. Not something you can remember easily. Overall this is a good coffee pot I just wish they made it in all black.

I love this coffee maker!  Got one for my Momma's house after I used the first at my own.  The options for strength of brew are what sold me on this product.

Working great so far…still figuring out all the options but auto on is a great one and like that you can pick your temp for brewed coffee. Look goes great with other stainless steel appliances.  14 cup option a  .

I have found these Braun Coffeemakers to be a good product at a good price.  Easy to use, produces good coffee.

Braun Coffeemakers are Pretty Brawny.

So far, nothing I don't dislike about this product except for setting the clock isn't that easy and the filter handle doesn't always stay put. Otherwise, it does the job. Has features of my former dandy brand name and cost slightly less. Unlike my former brand, the lid is not spring loaded and prone to failure. What would make it even better is if it had a light that would turn on when lid is up while filling.

Solid performer.

Hard to do the set up.  Makes great coffee but this is my third and last pot because they tend to break easily

Does not have a high enough extraction temperature even on “bold” setting.Consequently makes vey weak and flavourless coffee unless an excessive amount of coffee is used. This is the case even when the included filter is removed and replaced with a single paper filter. Will relegate to the cottage and would not buy it again. As a matter of interest it has one of the most confusing manuals I have ever seen included with a table top appliance.

Disappointing

Coffee maker makes so much noise while in “keep warm” phase.  There are too many steps to set time and auto-timer.  Pot only fills half a pot - the rest of the water gets caught in coffee grounds/filter holder. (Not sure of the name of that part) 
Overall… way too many cons for me.  I like Brauan brand, but this machine is just disappointing all the way around.

Too many issues.

This was the worst coffee maker I ever tried to use, in fact, my wife and son are returning it as I type. I had to do a search on my phone on how to set it up, I got up extra early, I wanted to start a pot of coffee and nothing happened, I pushed every button on the thing. Don't buy this, do yourself a favor.

Einstein couldn't figure this out
