It will only work for 30 hours if you have it on low. On medium it will work for about 12 and on high for about 8.

I keep it on medium for when I am sleeping which is perfect for me. The mist is great and it really helps me.

I have had a few tabletop humidifiers and this one is the nicest of them all.

good for the price

walmart.com

I bought this item recently, I love it, it is not noisy, there is a belle small night light that you can turn on alone without running the machine or the opposite without light...

I love it

Have this in my son's room and has been working great for us.
The power button light, when on, is a little bright as we like his room super dark. Other than that, very happy, even bought a 2nd one for our bedroom.

Very happy

[Employee of walmartcanada] Excellent product. Since I've received this over 1 wk. ago, my coughing stopped and i tend to sneeze less. I put some peppermint drops in the small filter. Good for colds.

excellent product

I had a smaller model of this same brand and liked it quite well, but it required twice a day filling. This larger unit lasts much longer and is essentially silent when operating.

Excellent unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PureGuardian H940 30-Hour Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier, .5 Gallon wasn't something I would ever consider having one until talking to a nurse friend of mine. She stressed the importance of having a humidifier in the home especially if you have kids and also if you have allergies or colds. When I saw that the Spark review was offering one I made the decision to try it out. So far I can say that it is really is helping me out with my 20 month old baby boy. He have allergies and after I received this product and placed in his room, I noticed that he is not sneezing as much and he doesn't sound as stuffy when he is sleeping anymore. What I love about this humidifier is that it is small and it doesn't take up a lot of room like some of the other ones. When my son is sleeping I just placed it on his dresser and it does the work for hours. Once I fill it up it goes all night and he is not snoring and making those little sounds that he normally makes before I placed this humidifier in his room. Its very quiet. Don't even know its in there.I am not saying that this humidifier is going to rid you of all of your allergies but it will help you out a lot with your breathing and making the room that you are in feel a whole lot clearer and fresher. I plan on using this for the fall and winter because you know that is mostly the cold and flu season. I would recommend this product because it does what it say it does. A must have and a life saver.

Allergy/Cold Saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sleek design fits in tight spaces. It's easy to fill and use. Mist lasts a very long time- a full day and night. The mist is very cool so I bundle-up near it, but I feel my nasal passages softening after just a couple of hours. My dry skin seems to like it too.
It's basically silent- love that. It pushes the mist about 2' out of the top before it starts to drop, and you can angle the mist wherever you want. The nightlight is nice for children. It's an up-light through the water reservoir- very pretty.

Only things I would change are 1- Really wish the power cord could be removed from the base so could keep the cord plugged in the wall while cleaning the base. It's not so easy to reach many wall outlets. 2- Wish it had an auto-shutoff timer because it's so quiet I forget it's on when I leave the room!

It's easy enough to clean with the small included brush and a baby bottle brush, and it has an anti-microbial coating to help keep algae and mold production down. There is a convenient holder for the cleaning brush inside the base so as not to lose it.

Very quiet, works well

Purchased this humidifier in hopes it would perform better than the last two we owned. It is EXTREMELY quiet and the night light is a great feature for my kids. The one downside: it claims to work for 30 hours but this has not been the case for us. Maybe on the lowest setting and even then not sure it could last that long. "Medium" power will last one night (10 hours max) while the highest setting will only last a few hours. Feeling a bit misled. Despite this, it's still working after about one month of daily use and hasn't started making loud fan noises as the other brands we have owned have done. Recommend getting the bigger model.

Very Quiet!

I really liked this humidifier, it has the features I wanted, the essential oil tray, a night light and good amount of mist that it kept the room moist and comfortable and is very quiet. But it only lasted for three days, it started leaking the water all over my night table, not sure where the leak was coming from. I was so disapointed that I had to do a return because I love it. Received a refund.

Sorry I had toreturn

I have had many ultrasonic humidifiers over the years and eventually they all die out or clog, overflow and flood the floor so I thought this one being smaller would be better. Pros: Small tank can be filled in the bathroom sink, quiet operation, blue LED light is good as a nightlight in the kids room. Cons: Does not put out enough moisture, my lips and skin are still dry, I am filling it 2-3 times a day when on high and I don't get through the night on a filled tank, the on button green light is way too bright at night & I have to cover it, as nice as the LED nightlight is it's also too bright for an adults room. It's a convenient little humidifier and works fine in a small bedroom with the door closed but really not noticing much difference in a larger bedroom.

It's OK

PureGuardian H940AR 30-Hour Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier with white base and translucent blue water tank, featuring ultrasonic technology for quiet operation, Silver Clean Protection, glowing power button, and night light control, suitable for home or office use.
