[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whoa! I have very fine hair — lots of it, per my stylist, but it's so fine that it often looks whimpy. On The Rise gives me incredible volume and control that lasts! I love this stuff!! Together with Smooth Perfection (humidity) or Hydration (I toggle between them) I'm able to get results that last all day.

I read the reviews before buying.  The reviews weren't very good but I decided to try the smaller size anyway.  So happy I did! I'm not sure why it was given negative reviews.  I can only believe the customers used too much.  I used it sparingly and was amazed now fantastic my hair turned out.  I have baby fine hair and all of a sudden I had volume .  And it lasted another day too! Thank you Pureology!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product - ran out of "colour stylist silk bodifier" mousse.  The new version "style + protect - root lifting mousse" does not come out as foamy mousse but slimy liquid.   Returned to store I purchased it from - said that was how it was created.  Really??

Where is the Mousse?

I bought this mousse after I found Color Silk Volumizing Mousse was no longer offered. This is not a mousse. It is air pumped, light gel. You cannot pull it through the hair as you can a mousse. It makes my hair sticky and causes my comb to get caught and pulls my hair out. It also seems to dry my hair out. It does give volume to my root area, but what good is the protection it offers when you can only use it in one area?

I have baby fine hair and use Clean Volume weightless mousse but thought I would try Style & Protect on the rise root lifting mousse...bad decision! It is sticky and slimy not a mousse at all. I first thought maybe the problem was the can but after watching the video I noticed it was correct and does not come out foamy like a normal mousse. Going back to the Clean Volume mousse.I hope they will take this back~:(
