The best detergent ever!

The PUREX liquid detergent is easy to use in my HE clothes washer.  Pour it into the reservoir and start it up.  The lid is useful for measuring out the correct amount of detergent too. The clothes came out clean and I like the fresh smell of the clothes when the cleaning is finished.  I would buy this detergent again. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Good Smell And Cleaning

The scent of this after the rain was so refreshing ! Washed my bed sheets and I had the best sleep with beautiful smelling bedsheets! It's not over powering just perfect.  It got them very clean as well, getting out some stains that had gotten there from our daughter that didn't come out in previous washes. Purex is a brand of laundry detergent that I have been using on and off for probably more than a decade now. I just bought the "After the Rain" scent, and it's one that I've tried before, but it's been quite some time. My first impressions of Purex is that the packaging has been the same forever and the scent options never really seem to change. I usually opt to try different brands, as I'm still in search of one that I really like, and when I choose a detergent, the two factors that I always go off of is product packaging and the scent directly from the bottle. Regarding packaging, unfortunately the Purex packaging does not necessarily inspire me to buy it. To me it has always looked like a cheaper, lower tier brand option, but yet the price of it is the same/similar to other products that look and smell better. Regarding scent, I've never really loved the scent options that are offered, and I feel like they've always been the same. I wouldn't mind if Purex came out with some newer scent options. All in all, I feel that Purex detergent gets the job done like any other off-the-shelf generic detergent, but it's not a product I usually go for. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

Arrived in a bag with the cap loosened and over half the bottle leaked into the inside of the ziplock bag into which it was placed.
