I switch from Persil to this, just because Persil was getting a little expensive. This definitely is worth the money and comparable to top name brands. I've never used it previously, does great on my kids sensitive skin, and doesn't break the bank.   Clothes still smell great when coming out, so scent stays on as well.

The cleaning capability and scent as well as the value for the price is always excellent. The economical large quantity load size is great for families. The formula does not cause any skin sensitivity. Applying and rubbing in a dab on grease spots does not leave any residue

effective and economical laundry detergent

I have used Purex laundry detergent for over 10 years. It cleans our clothes very well and smells really good, too! When I was in the nursing home, rehabing from a broken leg, the aides who pulled my clothes out of the closet each morning always commented on how good my clothes smelled. We don't use fabric softener as it is not good for your clothes %26 puts a coating on towels so they don't absorb the water off your body. Instead, we use vinegar and it makes your clothes VERY soft, they do not smell like vinegar and your left with really great smelling clothes, from the Purex!

Great detergent

was it really good price? I think I got Walmart cashback for buying it which I love getting my Walmart cash and it comes with the older fighter inside of it so you don't have to add extra stuff so overall I really like this purchase and it was a good price.

This gets the job done, plain and simple. It's definitely no Tide, but honestly for the price, you really can't go wrong. I've been pleasantly surprised with how well it cleans and freshens, especially with the odor fighter boost. Great value for the amount you get, and it handles everyday laundry without any issues. If you're looking to save a little without sacrificing too much performance, this is a solid go-to in our house!

For the $ This Gets the job done, plain and simple

Trying purex for the first time as my usual brand was a bit pricey. Purex seemed like it was good value for the price and I was pleasantly surprised when I used it. Clothes came out smelling fresh and it even cleared a stain i wasn't expecting it to. Might change to purex as my new regular brand

Purex Laundry Detergent

This is a great detergent that I use in my HD washer. I always buy it with the Oxy. Rarely do I need stain remover. Purex is SO much cheaper than other quality brands and never disappoints. No residue and cleans well in cold water. No complaints here!

The package/box arrived all wet and one of the Purex bottles was broken and so all of the contents were scattered in and inside the box. Even though it was in a big ziplock plastic bag, it still got ruined. I will have to return for a replacement 1 bottle.

Other items delivered were okay.

I ordered Purex Oxi Cold Water wash and when I received it was Purex Oxi Morning Burst.  I like the scent of Purex Oxi Col water wash the best overall other scents.  I had a white small towel that had blue stain and this Morning Burst Odor fighter did not remove the blue stain.  If I use the Oxi Cold Water wash it would be gone.  No blue stain.

I did not like the smell of my clothes once washed. Clothes smelled like no detergent was added to the wash. Smelt like dirty wet clothes. :(
I rewashed the clothes using even more detergent, still not a good smell. 
Went to store and bought a different brand and rewashed the clothes again. Much better results.
Money wasted.
