(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Our 11 1/2 year old male Chesapeake Bay Retriever (Tag), thrives on Pro Plan Complete Essentials. He and our 2 female Chessies are all healthy and still very active when it comes to play or hunting birds! We have been using Pro Plan for over 20 years and plan to use it for at least another 20!

Pro Plan Complete Essentials

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've tried many different foods for my golden retriever since he's quite a picky eater, but the Pro Plan Adult Complete Essentials Beef & Rice has been the clear winner. He eats it consistently, and I've noticed a real improvement in his coat. Its shinier and healthier than ever. He's maintained a healthy weight on this food, and I appreciate that it doesn't seem to cause any staining on his teeth like some other brands did, even with regular brushing. Overall, I'm very happy with how well he's doing on this kibble and I recommend it any chance I get.

My dogs favorite food

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have been using this dog food for 4 years. Our dogs are super healthy and athletic. They love their food.

Our dogs love this food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a maltese/chihuahua mix. When he was a puppy I fed him canned food and then got him on beneful, he liked it but i just switched him to pro plan about 3months ago and he absolutely loves it! I see his hair shinier and he seems more energetic.

My dog loves it

purina.com

I have been making my Great Pyrenee's food since I got her almost 4 years ago. I am now transitioning her over to Purina Pro Plan with her homemade food as a topper. She is really enjoying this food!! She was never a ambitious eater because she does not like veggies and it was a lot of work for me to get them small enough and crisp tender enough for her to not know she was eating vegetables. I am 75 years old and I'm at the stage now where I'm concerned if something happens to me there's no one who could duplicate this recipe easily. It's a intense labor of love to whip up this home made food enough for 15-20 days. I did a lot of research since there's a gazillion dog food producers out there. I liked what I read about Purina since they've been in the critter food business a long time and I was hard pressed to find any recent recalls. I also like the nutritional value of this food and the addition of probiotics. My girl has a slow metabolism and I've never had a problem with overfeeding or with a weight gain. Her body condition is perfect and the Vet is very pleased. I am anxious to see how well she does physically and energy wise with this food. I think we're doing just great so far!!!

Fine, healthy food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very satisfied! I love it!!! My dog loves this food Good value for money

Mom Dog Loves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product quality and perfect price and perfect large packaging format for large dog.

My dog loves

Our dog has been on this food for over a year and has done amazing with it. He has a lot of allergies and it took a long time to find the right food. Wondering if there has been a formula change. The last bag we got has the new packaging and our dog has been having skin problems and stomach issues.

Formula change?

I switched my lab from the Purina One dry dog food to this Pro Plan a couple years ago. He loved it and was doing great. Recently, he will hardly eat it and when he does, he seems to have digestive issues. He has never had issues before, so I am wondering about the recent formula change. I will be searching for a new dog food.

Digestive Issues--Formula Change?

I am absolutely LIVID! I ordered a brand-new bag of Purina Pro Plan dog food, delivered October 16, and it was infested with maggots and beetles. My dog ate this food for a week before we discovered the infestation, and he now has diarrhea. I am horrified that my dog may have been eating contaminated food for days. The bag had to be thrown away because it was so disgusting. This is completely unacceptable. Pet owners should be able to trust that the food they buy is safe for their animals. I am extremely disappointed and expect this to be taken seriously. I have videos, but unfortunately this review does not allow me to post videos. And I want a refund but they won't give me a refund unless I return the bag , and they expect me to keep this bag in my house.

WARNING!! DO NOT BUY!!
