One mixed breed “rescue” dog seems to like more than the Shih Tzu.  I leave a cup out and they nibble on it throughout the day.  I bought it because it is supposed to be very good for dog's health, but it is a bit too expensive.  If things get tighter with my groceries, I will need to make other choices for my pups.

I trust Purina. My Yorkies love the chewy shredded chicken pieces. The amount of the shredded pieces varies from bag to bag.  Most have enough. When it runs down to just the kibbles, my dogs are not so enthusiastic about the food.  Then again, they get samples of shaved deli roasted smoked chicken, and occasional cheddar cheese.  How can I say no, right? Not as bad as Mrs. Pumphrey on All Creatures Great And Small, however.

I have been using this dog food with my chihuahuas for two plus years. It was recommended to me by two different vets. My dogs love it. They use the bathroom with no problem. I will say it is good for there digestive system. It keeps their coat looking shiny %26 healthy. No issues. Happy dog mom here.

Great dog food

I have fed the Chihuahua's in my life Bil-Jac but decided to switch to this and I am glad I did. I think she has gained some weight since I started feeding her this. I do use a topper now, also. Mainly the Blue lamb, turkey, beef or chicken toppers. I feed her two tablespoons of the Purina and 1 tablespoon of topper twice a day. So far so good. I will stick with this for, hopefully, good.

My 5 lb. Chihuahua Loves This!

My fur baby loves the shredded blend with the chicken pieces inside.  Walmart had the best price.  Only issue would be sometimes the amount of chicken pieces are very inconsistent.  One bag will have a lot of them and the next bag will have very little.  Doesn't make sense to me.

My dog is a rescue with an enlarged heart, his cardiologist prescribed Purina Pro Plan! My rescue came from hoarder. He is overweight, but his health and heart are 100 good, he is in a loving home. My dog enjoys the food.

Great food for dogs

My dog loves it and my Shih Tzu. He is 18 years old and this is one of the best foods I have ever gotten.This is a must have for him. I am very grateful for the product

A must have

I don't like the price. Its a flip of the coin if I'll have enough cash to get it for my precious Gracie. She is picky but eats Purina Pro. She loves it. Prices of things never go down but I wish you would consider it.

The raviolis are firm with a decent amount of filling in them.  The tomato sauce is a little thin, but gives it more flavor.  The pieces of spinach in the Marinara are not good. I add fresh Parmesan cheese.

Decent frozen meal

It took three years for me to find a dry dog food that my Lil'Man would even consider eating. I was so happy when we discovered this brand and flavor, and now he's more than satisfied. He just turned four on March 18, 2026.

We have an adult poodle that weighs 3 lbs.   I have to cut the chicken pieces because they are too big for her to chew.  Wish they were smaller like the hard pieces.    We bought this because it said it was for small dogs.
