Growing up, my mother hung our sheets outside to dry.  These sheets come so close to reproducing the sensation that we kids felt in the outdoor dried sheets. They are stiff to the point where you can feel them wrapped around your body, unlike flimsy sheets that you can hardly tell are there. They are also warmer. This is our second set and as far as the color, white is white. The corner pockets keep the sheets in place.

I always wash everything I buy when it comes to linens and clothing.  As soon as I got in bed, I immediately could tell the difference in my new sheets compared to the old sheets.  The quality was the first thing I noticed.  The second thing I noticed was how comfortable these sheets are.  I have never immediately fallen asleep but I sure did the very first night I used the new sheets.  I highly recommend these sheets!

Sleeping on Purity sheets is sleeping like a baby.

Good quality percale: all cotton, from India. Percale is never soft and clingy by design.
It is made for hot weather and the unique weave prevents it from settling closely around the sleeper. It will never be smooth, a disappointment to some. To those of us who appreciate a cooler sheet, there is nothing better.

Great Price for Percale

These are great sheets that stay very cool during the hot summer days. The temperature is noticeably different from other sheets. Good value for the cost.

They are packaged nice. The Walmart description says 400 thread count but seem a little thin to me. The label says absolutely nothing about thread count. I'm glad they are just cotton and not sateen. I don't care for sateen and having a hard time finding decent quality thread count percale cotton sheets at a decent price. 
So I don't know if I should return them or if they will start piling  if they aren't a true 400TC.
The label is frustrating.

Nicely packaged, BUT, as soon as I began to unfold the sheets, I saw quite a few threads loose. I rewrapped it up and am returning it. I also tried to see how thin they were, I could easily see my fingers through them. Too thin. And they had some stretch to them??? Since when does Percale have stretch?? 
My search continues.

Stretchy Percale? Really? Nah.

these sheets are nothing like percale sheets. I found them to be stiff. Also if you like a hot mess of wrinkles these would be for you. I tried drying for a few minutes and smoothing out the wrinkles but that didn't help. I'd have to rate these are one of the worse sheets I've every bought.

These are the worst sheets I have ever owned. They wrinkle no matter how quickly you remove them from dryer. They are totally unusable. I would not sleep on these wrinkled sheets. I would return in a minute but I waited on an order for twin beds and then had to wait for beds to be put together and by then it was too late to return. I have pictures of these wrinkled up sheets.

Do not purchase these sheets!  They are not the brand they are professing to be.  Purity brand sheets and pillow cases are labeled  with their brand tag.  These are not.  The wrinkling after drying on low and removing promptly was unbelievable.  The fabric is coarse and stiff.   I've been purchasing percale and cotton damask sheets forever.  Bought Purity percale sheets from Macy's  and they are beautiful!  Saw them in Walmart  at a cheaper price and ordered 2 sets.  What a  surprise I received.  Will be returning the second set and donating  the other.  As they say, “You get what you pay for.”

NOT Purity brand sheets!

I've been replacing my sheets, and have been doing a lot of ordering to compare 100% cotton (description headings are misleading for these type), Egyptian cotton (love if 100%), prima cotton, cotton blend, etc. I've never had percale cotton sheets so I thought I would order and see how they felt.  I didn't like the feel.  I can't exactly explain it.  Others may like, but I didn't so I returned them.
