This speakers is not a JBL or a Punch but, it is well built and handles power pretty good. Keep your power output within the RMS range of the speaker and you will be just fine. Even though the speaker cone is a polypropylene on the outside it is still a paper cone underneath that. So be mindful of this when mounting this subwoofer. Overall this product is well worth the money and sounds better than most would expect. I have used Pyle products since I attended High School almost twenty years ago. There are many brands of speakers out there but only a hand full can say they have been around for more than twenty years.

Best product for the price

This 8" subwoofer worked perfectly for what I needed it for. My girlfriend had purchased a 2006 Nissan Sentra that came with a stock subwoofer in the trunk of the car. Unfortunately it was blown so I started looking online for a replacement. I was fortunate enough to find this one on Wal-Mart.com and ordered it right away. I was even luckier that the subwoofer shipped the next day and was FedEx'd to the Naugatuck, CT store overnight. I was very pleased! I would recommend this product to anyone!

The PYLE BLUE WAVE is the best thing i bought with my gift card i got for Christmas this year i bought two of them and they sound great on my car door i would recommend this sub-woofer to you if your looking for more bass for your vehicle.

It was a let down. I see why they are getting rid of them. Bought the KICKER sub after I received this and it is 10X the sub. Goes to show that you get what you pay for. Never worth the original price of $80.00.
