Shopping for receivers today is a real challenge because there are so many different types,, most receivers today are for use as a home theater system,, all that I wanted was a receiver that would push enough amps through my Technics floor standing speakers so that I can enjoy listening to my cd's,, so far so good with this unit,, I just wish that it has more of a bass out put,, but there is a jack for a subwoofer,, so I may have no choice to purchase a subwoofer so that I can have more bass.............

Excellent product, works really good the instructions are not very clear on installing tv or other items, but once you figure it out works great
