I do not have them in the ceiling but did try two with my receiver and they do put out very goor sound so once they are in the ceiling box they should sound real great,

Installation looks to be simple and easy, very durable, with a good sound quality. The design is great to be used outdoors! I was so excited to receive this waterproof outdoor speaker. This will be perfect on Summer Nights when we watch movies on the outdoor projector. It's kind of like a drive-in theater but at home. This speaker has a 1-year warranty. Stereo sound from one speaker. This high-quality speaker is weatherproof for high moisture situations. We can definitely hear the movie so much clearer now. This is very easy to install. My son had an easy time because the directions were easy to follow and included  the  necessary hardware for an easy installation. This has a  6  1/2 polypropylene woofer with santoporene surround duel 1/2" polycarbonate tweeter. You can also install this speaker in your home ceiling for a flat, seamless look. I highly recommend it for your indoor outdoor audio speaker needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this product I was a little nervous that it would be pretty difficult to figure out how to install even with my Mr Fix It husband but we figured out it was pretty easy. It is very durable and the sound quality is great. The design is very sleek and simple and something that is a great addition to our travel trailer. We added it to the outside sound system. Highly recommend.
