The Pyle PLMRCB3 universal marine stereo housing is perfect for mounting your stereo on your boat or outdoors. The 2 position hinged front door protects your stereo from the harsh marine environment by sealing it with a neoprene gasket for protection from water. 

The shield is also UV resistant to prevent cracking. It accommodates dual post/removable and DIN-style stereos. The U shaped mounting bracket can be used on a deck or for overhead installation. Includes stainless steel mounting hardware and wires.

I put this on my Ranger Side by Side, and and me and my wife love it.. keep the Boss Stereo perfectly dry.

Sounds good,easy to operate, well worth the price.

Worth the Price

There are 2-3 ways to configure a stereo inside this casing, which seems well built and will work just fine, but make sure you have a good plan to mount your stereo inside this casing. It can be a little tricky but I think most units will work just fine inside it.

Know Your Stereo

This is a very very cheap made box. Hard to wire being so confined. Eyelets on the side for the mounting bracket to fasten to will come loose. 20 bucks, what can someone expect.

Pay for what you get.

The first time I opened the box to install the radio the hinged front door broke at the top hinge on both sides. I have contacted seller to see about a replacement unit.

Weak Hinge.

Just junk. First time opening it the lid would no longer latch. I still used, but I had to add Velcro over the lid and hook on the bottom.

Don't buy!!!
