Too expensive!

Terrible product. I followed the recipe twice because I couldn't believe it was so awful. 
Batter is thick like cookie dough. Impossible to 'pour' as in instructions. Also 90 seconds per side is a joke. I followed this the first time and pancakes were still raw. Second time, I did 3 minutes per side, even pressing down on the cake to flatten it a bit, and cake was half cooked and half raw. I still tried some of the cooked part. It tasted like sawdust. It is unbelievable that the Quaker company has put this product on the shelf for consumers.  I followed the recipe exactly. How on earth did the Quaker test kitchen arrive at a different result from mine using the same product and recipe? Impossible in my opinion. 
I paid 8 dollars for my box. The mix is not in a plastic pouch or any sort of envelope inside the box.  It is just inside the box open to all sorts of contaminates, bugs et cetera.  I am appalled at the packaging, but mostly at the terrible,  Inedible results. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
