Can be crunchy and complex, but also rough and gritty.

I absolutely love these protein bars, I would, however, love to see them come down on price… I just eat less to level out the amount of money I put out on them.
They satisfy your sweet tooth, give you some protein, and don't weigh you down during the day like normal food .

Not super sweet, which was unexpected.(I don't normally like sweet things) keeps me full and love how low it is in carbs they are compared to other protein bars.

Great taste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As protein bars go, these are some of the better tasting ones out there.  The texture is soft and not chalky.  The sugar content is low while still being able to sub for a sweet treat.  The price is in line with its competitors.  I have tried several different brands and have stuck with Quest for a few years now, so unless they change the recipe, I don't have to look for an alternative.  I am more partial to chocolate than fruity and so far the only one I don't like is the brownie, and when I say I don't like it, I really don't like it.  They need to retire that flavor!

Excellent source of protein with an excellent tast

I really like the Quest bars that have chunks in them like this one. Really helps break up the protein texture; while I don't mind it I know some who aren't into that. Of the cookie flavors, this one is my favorite.

I'm not sure if I was expecting a different taste/texture but you can tell this is a healthy snack.  It was not horrible and I would buy them again.

These high protein bars are packed with goodness with low net carbs and great flavor.  They make a perfect quick snack.

these are really good with a cup of milk highly reccomend if your looking for something chewy. Not chalky either.

The Quest Cookies %26 Cream protein bar used to be my favorite on the market. Unfortunately, the most recent box I purchased tastes like the recipe or ingredients have changed.

What was once a flavorful bar that truly lived up to its name now has a bland, almost flavorless taste with a soft, chalky, Play-Doh–like texture. The cookies and cream pieces, which used to actually add flavor, now only seem to provide a slight change in texture rather than taste.

I won't be purchasing this again, which is disappointing because it was a go-to for me for a long time. Sad to have to start looking for a new protein bar after being a loyal customer.

Absolutely awful experience. Felt quite ill after eating and the flavor for the Cookie and Cream just tastes completely artificial. Also they do not accept returns if the box is opened but I do not see how one could know this kind of awful experience would occur and would be inedible without trying them out... just looking at the box it is obviously unknowable
