Great little window unit

This unit does the job. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and this 5000 BTU, unit is capable of keeping me cool as a cucumber. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Thank you.

Keeps me cool as a cucumber

We bought 2 of these AC units to replace a 12000 btu portable AC unit for the back end of our house.  1 unit we mounted in our master bedroom window at the far end of our house and the second unit in the study at the center of our house.  We also have a 14000btu portable AC unit in our living room, dining room, kitchen area at the other end of our house.  These RCA 5000btu AC units worked way better than the single 12000 btu AC unit and at half the price.  This I say after going through a 2 week heat wave with temperatures ranging from middle to high 30s C. I strongly say purchase this RCA AC unit if you need to keep cool.

Best Units for a 200 sq. Ft. Area

Great unit for a small room, it is completely manual,. No bells or whistles. The fan runs continually, but you can shut it off at night.

Basic unit, works well

Air conditioner

Window unit air conditioner works fairly well, came with useful extra mounting equipment (if you have a double hung style window), no remote, buttons are easy to use but not well marked (faint), it isn't quiet but not super noisy. Has both fan only and air conditioning/cooling options

Great and does the job well, I would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for an AC on a budget. the only slight (and I do mean slight) downside would be the noise during the day. At night it is perfectly fine to sleep with and has never been a bother! It is only something to get accustomed to during the day.

Great option for budget seekers and in general

Pretty decent A/C! It cools down a decently sized room without issues and can get really cold. However, there seems to be an additional rattling noise from the plastic touching another surface. Although, that's easily fixable and not a big deal size window A/Cs are always loud anyways. And the A/C received is not the same as the one pictured, but I'd say it's actually better.

Satisfied

They sent me a broken air conditioner, it came with a dent in the top. And once i got in the window the fan was making so much noise i just put it back in the box and returned it. I ended up getting the same deal from another store.

Broken!?!

We bought it specifically to install to use on our vacation at our cottage. Upon opening the box it was severely damaged. We couldn't have been more disappointed.
