RCA 50" Quantum Dot 4K Roku television

What an awesome price for a bedroom TV.  I ordered this TV about a month ago.  Delivery was delayed a few days because of snow.  The set up was easy, but the TV failed within the first few hours.  I called WalMart for a return.  They didn't make a fuss, just processed my request. It took a few days, but eventually the courier showed up and took the defective unit.  I was mad and didn't want to re-order.  But after I looked around at different TVs and prices, it was obvious this was the best ever deal (and the truth is I really liked the TV).  So I ordered another one (figuring that if this one messed up I would return it as well until I got a functioning unit).  The second one arrived a day early and again, setup was easy (especially since I already created a ROKU profile).  So far totally stoked about this purchase.  The price is awesome and can't be beat.  The quality is completely adequate for a bedroom TV (I don't game on it).  I would have given this a five-star rating except for the fuss and bother I had to go through to get to the final product.

Well worth the money and eventually really happy with my purchase.

Everything is okay.  It works well for few months.

Good

The most important thing about this TV is ,There is no ambient sensor, meaning you have to manually adjust the backlight in day time and night time in order to watch tv, otherwise it is either too dark for daytime or too bright for night time. The sound quality is ok nothing fancy. You just hear what is playing no bass. Few settings for sound which don't make any difference. Also there is a buzzing sound from the back when the tv is off. 
the viewing angle is limited. Colours change a lot when viewing not directly.
The good points are 
• the look of tv which is really good.
• The Roku does everything and so nice to play around with
• The ability to airplay the apple devices is awesome 
•Variety of free channels on Roku tv is good.

Using for a month now, and here are the pros/cons

Terrible Quality

Bought this TV online for Christmas. 
Was very happy with the quality of the picture through HDMI (Games, Streaming, Blurays) but shortly after watching regular TV I kept getting a 1" thick horizontal digital line that would randomly come and go and would start mid screen and slowly  make it's way to the bottom.
After 3 weeks of emails to the manufacturer and jumping through hoops to get an exchange, I decided to avoid any more headaches and returned the TV to the store. 
I've since ordered two more of these Quantum Dot TVs and both the 2nd and 3rd TV had the exact same issues but THIS time the projected picture on both TVs was not properly aligned, meaning the entire picture was off center to the left which would leave a half inch black bar at the right side of the screen. 
This is NOT an aspect ratio setting!!! 
The picture is simply not centered.
I bought 2 more, but both different models and returned those as well. 
I'm really disappointed because I loved the Quantum Dot TV. 
I've now bought another brand of TV and am very happy with it. 
I will not buy another RCA product again!!! 
The manufacturer's replies to these reviews are generally "We're sorry that our product didn't meet your expectations".
Is it TOO much to expect a brand new TV to work properly???
