Amazing

Great picture. If you have an older receiver that doesn't have HDMI you have to hook up through the antenna/ aerial port but it works. Nice sound as well. Really happy with purchase.

Great RCA television

Really enjoying all the free Roku channels. Has an optical cord thing for my sound bar. Only complaint I can think of is the remote is to small, loose it easily.

Satisfied

I decided to give this tv a chance and took it home since the price was decent for a 55” HDR 4K smart tv...anyway I was very impressed with the quality picture and sound as well , beautiful rich colours as good as my Samsung and LG. I'm definetly keeping this one for my room, watching Netflix and and playing on my Xbox is just a another new different level !

Outstanding picture!

We have an average  12' projector, a 9 year old 55 inch and some others similar. Picked this item with the decent price around December. I did not know what ROKU is. The salesman with purple hair (I missed his name) at the edmonton far west location, was very helpful and explained it all to me. The smart aspect of the tv works well but many channels that can be added cost like Netflix. That is okay as most come with a trial to check what you like first. The tv menus were easy enough I figure out. Has an audio out optical which is helpful for The home theatre and wires. The picture compared to my old LCD is unbelievable. But I make a point of not looking at the top goodies I can't afford so I can't say how well it would compare to other new models at all. In 4k video it looked better than real life. Only thing I don't care for is the legs. There too far apart, my old one had a swiveling centre leg. This has 2 legs at each end and didnt for on any of my tv stands. I will paint the legs to match the stand as they kind of ugly. But for now Its forced onto a smaller stand. I recommend this item especially if your upgrading from old technology, it's more than good.

Excellent features for the price

My dad and I setup our new 55" RCA tv today Jan.1 to celebrate a happy new year! The RCA is replacing a Samsung 40" full HD 1080p.

The RCA's picture quality, sharpness, colors are noticeably better than the Samsung. We just tested a few cable channels broadcasting in HD and with the bigger screen, programs look amazing. The tv has a good amount of settings to tweak the picture, but I just left everything to the default settings because the picture quality it provides is awesome.

We are running a Seiki SR4KP1 bluray player that upconverts to 4K and is Technicolor 4K Image Certified.

Watched my regular Bluray Jurassic World with the family and it looked stunning! Almost felt like we were there in the jungle getting killed by Indominus Rex! My fav is T-REX, he got his revenge yay! :D

I can't imagine watching 4K UHD movies through a 4K UHD bluray player. I'm starting to purchase 4K movies and add them to my regular bluray collection. I might upgrade to a 4K player soon.

The ROKU built in tv feature works great too. I had to create an account, as I never had one before. Connecting the tv to my internet was easy too.

At first, downloading the ROKU mobile remote app was simple and easy. But within the TV the ROKU channel store was unavailable. Great, I thought maybe my TV was defective.

Good news though, I went to add all the free channels I could within the tv and the ROKU channel store was available again and working. It was smooth, simple and easy. The ROKU app also works smooth and easy to control the tv.

My rating on the ROKU content and quality of programs is just fair. Being in Canada, I've come to realize that the amount of channels we get compared to the US is very limited. If I pay for specific channels, my rating would go up for sure.

Of the 13 free ROKU channels I added to the tv, only a few actually worked and I could watch something. Maybe the free channels that I couldn't get any content to play on the tv, they weren't broadcasting anything. I tried multiple times too. Isn't that what having a service like ROKU is for, anytime stream tv shows, movies etc? Oh well.

Like I said earlier, if I pay to subscribe to channels my rating of the ROKU content/channels would be better I'm sure.

I highly recommend this RCA 4K UHD HDR tv! It is an awesome tv for the features and picture quality you get for the price. The current price is slightly higher than when we purchased it though.

Great tv and features for price paid!

1. Be prepared to buy a sound bar if you don't already have one. 
2. Once in a while the volume stops working so I need to plug it out and back in to get it started again.

Sound issues

Does not work well and wait until the end of the covid return it!

The 1st one we bought lasted 10 months. You cannot return to store after this much time do had to use manufacturer warranty. Took 2 1/2 months to get replacement even though we met their criteria after 1 wk. we then had to destroy the unit with tons of photos as proof. So we went  a very long time without a tv. Then when the replacement came it has background ghosts and image is poor compared to first unit. We will never buy a RCA product again and this one will go in the garbage as soon as we can save up enough money for a good brand.
