We've had this TV for almost 2 months now and so far so good. We bought this TV because our smart TV went out on us after 1.5 years. For that reason, I did not want another smart TV. This TV has a very nice, clear, crisp picture and the volume is amazing. Of course we bought the protection plan just in case. If given the opportunity, I'll come back and write a review once we've had the TV for a year.

I love the TV, especially for the price! At this price point you can't complain about anything. The picture is excellent, the sound quality is superior. With that said, You do need to go into the menu and adjust the screen and sound settings. There are many different choices. I have found the ones that I like and the TV is excellent I will update again in three months today's date is August 27, 2020 but for now? five stars!

Cant beat the price!

This is not a smart TV so don't expect to connect to the Internet.  Having stated this you are going to need input from other sources.  I have lost several smart TVs to manufacturing defects from newer production facilities.  So having covered this it has very few issues that I have noticed thus far, off axis viewing you lose the strong colors, but, you really need to be well off to the side of the display.  It doesnt have an instant on for the display, so you have a splash screen on startup.  When moving from one video to a different video or commercial the HDMI screen pops up as the information transfer is not compatible with the latest HDCP version, this only lasts for two seconds or so.  Very good colors and dynamic range even though blacks are still slightly gray without the technology to turn off the area behind the screen.

Brutally honest

No problems with the TV....awesome quality for the price! This is NOT a smart TV. It's made by a company that manufactures inexpensive TV's, TCL is one of their 'brands'...I've had that TV for 5 1/2  years with no issues as well. If you want a good, solid TV for cheap, I recommend this RCA 4K...!

What a deal for a 4K NON-smart TV!

Seen lots of complaints that this isn't a "smart" TV. True- but it's massive, 4k, decent picture, and compared to a similar size smart TV you can't beat this price with a stick. If you want a big screen and don't need built-in Zoom call capability with microphone and webcam, this is an excellent buy. Couldn't be happier.

Great for big scrreen without any frills.

The RCA 58" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160P) LED TV (RTU5820) is a great TV at this price point. Works as advertised, paired with a 4k Firestick with no complaints so far. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a low-cost 4k TV.

Great TV at a great price

Overall the size and picture is good for the price now that being said I would like to point out one fault a single pixel is red when screen is displaying any color other than white about 8 inches in and 8 inches high on the left bottom corner just one little red dot  I do have a warranty so before it expires or if it gets worse I will have it fixed

It was great price for the screen size. The picture is pretty sharp and clear.  Plus it's super light.  However one down size is the sound. Just doesn't seem to sound right, can't explain it.  But purchase a sound bar and you will be good.

Nice TV, Nice Price

I am in the process of returning the RCA 58" Class 4K Ultra HD.  The picture quality is just not what I would expect from a name brand TV.  No matter the adjustments made with the contrast, brightness or any other picture adjustment, the outcome was the same--poor picture quality.  Even at its low price, we returned the TV because it just wasn't worth the poor picture quality.  We purchased, instead, the Hisense and we are now quite pleased.

We expected at least minimum picture quality

The price was good but the problem was the quality of picture on the screen was poor, there were black shadows across the top of the screen.
