This is our second purchase of this alarm clock.  We purchased the first for my husband, and when mine finally but the dust, I chose to replace it with this model.  Simple, functional, economical-we highly recommend it!

great alarm clock..great value

Exactly what i wanted - simple alarm clock that's super easy to use.  Display is a little bright but doesn't bother me. Hoping it lasts!

It is small, economical and to know the time when I am busy and just want to know the time. Placed in a corner is working for me. I liked it and ordered another one for another corner.

Easy Set-up Good Value

The most basic little electric clock imaginable, this has two buttons to change the time and a button to set the alarm. The readout is clear. Haven't used the alarm, so can't comment on that. I gave the clock four stars because it was cheap and functional (at least, it still is after a week - if it quits or loses/gains time, I'll update this rating). I took away a star because in a quiet room, it emits a noticeable hum. I have other inexpensive electric clocks which make no noise at all.

Not bad for the price ($8.98)

Could hardly beat the price (with free shipping), and as a clock it does its job. However, I'm not sure about the battery backup. Just went through a power outage and when the power went back on, the time on the clock was way off and the battery wasn't discharged.

Battery backup?

I would not buy this clock or any clock like it again.I could not hear the alarm when it went off.Dropping a pencil on the floor would make more noise than the alarm on this clock.The blinking dots between the hour number and minute number blink 24/7.I was told by rca customer representive these dots represent a second had on a regular clock.The rep also advised me that there is no way the alarm sound can be made louder,it is what you hear.
