I have used a blade for most of my life this was a pleasant surprise.I noticed that instructions suggest you add a drop of light oil from time to time it would be helpful if they sold it, can some household oils be used?  I'm aware that it CAN be shipped in small sealed packages (like fast food ketchup packets you wouldn't even be that large)

I have always liked Remington razors since they came out with the two track system blades. However,  the pop up trimmer has been their weak link. The last 4 of my razors had the trimmer fail one way or another. I had decided to purchase another brand and saw the Virtually indestructible one. The trimmer looks bigger and stronger. Time will tell.

Looks stronger than older ones.

Very easy to hold, quiet, holds a charge very good, have used a straight razor in the past. Purchased this razor because of extensive surgery on my spine. Believe I found my new everyday shaver. It is very comfortable and does not pinch. Leaves my skin smooth. No complaints. Love this shaver!

Best Shaver Ever!

I got this for my Father after his stroke and allow my mother to have a bit of freedom over when and how she can shave my Dad between his chair and the shower.  Kinda putting the name 'indestructible' to the test, but it's been holding up very well and my mother has been very pleased with this shaver.  Before switching him over to this razor, he was using a safety razor; but it looks like I now inherited his DE handle and spare razors...  His last electric razor was a Phillips-Noreclo, but their quality been dropping over the years since I was first a young boy (now in my thirties) learning the art of shaving.  I not only liked the price, but also the quality and already plan on buying my Dad replacement heads for his new razor soon.

I had an older Remington rotary shaver that I really liked. I used it until the battery finally gave out so I thought this might be a good replacement. If you don't use the stubble guard it pulls your hair badly. At first I thought it was the blades but then I tried it with the stubble guard and it cuts smoothly when it isn't right against your skin so the problem likely lies with the blade guards. If you only want to shave down to stubble this might be an okay choice. If you want a close shave I suggest looking elsewhere.

The shaver doesn't seem to be very powerful. Takes quite a bit of time to shave with it. I thought it was battery and electric, but it's only battery. Might return it.

Not powerful enough.

I JUST PURCHASE THIS RAZOR FOR THE SECOND TIME AND THE ONLY COMPLAINT I GOT IS THAT IT CONTINUE TO STOP WHILE IM SHAVING.WOULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHY THIS KEEPS HAPPENING.

My husband wanted this for a while now. He was eager to get it but it made his face break out badly and burned his face. I am going to return it.

This electric razor does not shave close it leaves stubble that I have to use my regular bladed razor to get. i bought this since I am on blood thinners and my cardiologist strongly suggested an electric in order to not chance cutting myself. I am very disappointed in this razor.
