I haven't used a compass since high school.  So I'm not sure if it's my lack of skill or the compass.  It is a nice set.  You get two compassesone (one large, one small), an extension arm (that I haven't figured out), a led sharpener and a stylus for freehand drawing with your leads.  You get one extra lead.  I suggest buying more!  I dropped my compass and the lead came out and I couldn't find it.  At least I had a spare.  It would have been nice if this set came with an instruction book.  The reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the compass tends to loose its position when you're using it.  It doesn't seem to lock into the set position.  If the manufacturer has any comment I'd love any advice.  Even tho I said I would recommend it, I have to say I'm not 100% convinced.
