Great product

I had been looking at buying one since I started my own plumbing company and the company I worked with before had one. A job come up in a old apartment building we’re soldering 1 1/2 copper tight to some extremely flammable floor joists was just a big liability. The rp350 worked like a charm. It took all the stressful spots out of the job for me and speed up install on the mains.

From someone who's soldered and brazed, threaded pipe for the last 25+ yrs, this tool is a game changer!!! I've had my share of gimmick tools, products, this is the real deal!!! Love that I can press 8hrs worth of natural gas in 2hrs, press 2hrs worth of sweat work in 15mins!

Phenomenal Machine!!!!

I've had a few years of experience with propress, finally managed to get my own tool, has seriously changed the way I deal with copper and other piping materials and fittings.  This tool is a lifesaver a time and a money saver as well. Can't go wrong with a propress tool!

Incredible Tool

I work as a journeyman plumber running my own jobs and I saved up for the rp 350 to save me from those days where everything goes wrong atleast my awesome ridgid presstool will get me out of a wet situation with ease and speed.  The faster I can knock jobs out the more money I can make.

Great investment

Amazing tool! 20 years I have been soldering, and threading gas pipe,
Now with the push of a button that all goes to the wayside! It’s an amazing tool, the only downside is I am a service plumber, so Id like a smaller throat/the body of the gun to be smaller.
With that being said, maybe I should have gotten the compact version, which I think I’m going to buy too, but the tool
Itself is a beast and every plumber needs this in their van!

The King has arrived!

I have been using various models of rigid propress guns for 15+ years and the newest design for the 350 is much more accommodating and ergonomic than previous models. If there is any chance that you would use any of the xlc or Megapress adapters in the future, don’t waste your money on any of the short throw rigids or other brands.

New design is great!

been using one for 15 plus years at work so i bought one for myself. crimper broke after about 10 crimps i do like it so i bought another one bummer is no parts available for repair.

great tool but had issues

It seems like a robust tool. When I received it, it worked very well. However, when changing dies, a roller bearing that I now know is supposed to be captured fell out of the new unit. We put it back in and cut maybe 200 cuts on several jobs.  It does a good job.

The roller bearing fell out of the tool and damaged the main RP350, which the service center has had for three weeks. I need that one back and probably more, but I may have adopted it too early.  It is a lot of money to have sitting at a service center.   Other brands are now on the market.

Strutslayr failed after less than 200 cuts

Not sure where it’s at now but there was no timeline for it to be returned. You should just send us a new one. It was going into tool lock out mode from the first press. I had to take the battery of for it to let go of the pipe. It did it over and over. Maybe you should test your tool a little more.
