As an avid gamer and single parent price, durability, and quality of sound are important when buying a new headset. I am pleasantly surprised with this headset. I needed a new headset after one of my children broke my “top of the line”, “name brand” headset. I bought this needing one quick and the price is initially what drew my attention. I knew nothing about this headset and was not sure if it would be good or not, plus I wasn't looking for a corded headset decided to try it. 5 stars for price and quality, sound is amazing for gaming, music and movies, great microphone. Microphone and headset both adjustable for size and comfort, easy to mute just lift up to mute and lower to unmute,so you always know without having to check - “Did I mute that…”. Long cord but not too long that it's in the way or getting snagged on things. Volume adjustment right at your fingertips so you don't have to pause your game to turn up or down. Added bonus is the Dolby app to customize your sound - 3 custom settings as well as movie, music and gaming. Very versatile, works with both Xbox and PlayStation. Headset is very durable having young children durability is important, as they tend to “yank” the cord from the controller and having a wired controller this is always a concern. The only negative to this product is having to play with the connection to your controller about 40% of the time, you have to wiggle the volume to get both earphones on. But for price not a big deal, also, keep in mind this may be an issue with my headset only, considering my above mention of having children. Have not read any reviews about this as a problem. Overall great product, very satisfied. I would recommend this product.

Snug fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the RIG 500 PRO HS Gen 2 free from TryIt Sampling for a review. They are extremely comfortable and so soft on your ears.  They are light weight and have a adjustable frame and self adjusting headband.  This lets you wear them for hours of gaming without leaving your ears red or hurting.  They have good sound quality and the volume is adjustable.  The microphone is flexible and removable and when it is adjusted up it is muted.  The microphone quality is good. I would recommend them.

Very Easy and Comfortable to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great gaming feature and very comfortable. The audio has very awesome clarity. The noise cancelling is compared to none. I had to purchase another one because my other son liked it so much. Besides the comfort, it is also light weight.

Solid headset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headset is well built. The steel frame is great to have for durability, but also still pretty light and comfortable. They also look really nice, much better than plastic counterparts.  I like the cross compatibility with pc, ps5 and ps4.  The headset mic has noise-canceling but I don't think it works well as the squad mentioned hearing some of the background noise from my noisy household. The headset does however do a good job of blocking out my noisy household so I can focus on the game.  Sound quality is really good with these.  I would definitely recommend these to a friend.

Overall good quality headset that is built to last

First of all I ended up with the wrong headset, it was the newer model. Overall it's a decent headset it is comfortable and has a good adjustment for head size. The Adobe Atmos is amazing and the headset itself sounds good without the Adobe. That's where the goodness ends. The mic and the volume adjustment are the absolute worst product experience I ever had. Crackling when trying to adjust the volume is normal on most adjustable headsets , but this one would only work when the volume would be on one specific spot, otherwise the input would only come through the left or the right. And the mic sounds absolutely horrible. My friends don't even want me in the party and if you are used to communication while in an online game you will get nothing but complaints from your teammates.

Great sounding headset. Worst microphone ever made

I bought this 2 months ago the mic won't stay up because the little plastic pin broke off also as a bad echo for anyone in your party at full volume, strongly suggest u get a different headset, unfortunately for me I threw out the box so I likely can't exchange it
