I have the 700hs what a great headset is this compare two the arctic 7 I like it better the sound is fuller richer easy to use comfy great wireless connection very thick earcups now I ordered the 800hs to compare. I have used astro turtle hyper Sony enz. I love the rigs !!!!

Headset review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The RIG is a well made headset that allows you to communicate with your friends while playing your PlayStation wirelessly. It's easy and conscientious to use and the wireless function gives you the ability to move around while not missing out on the conversation or what's going on in the game. The sound quality is good and you have the ability to adjust two settings. The headset is very comfortable to wear and is adjustable so even my 5 year old can wear it when he wants to be like dad.

Nice headset

Most comfortable gaming headsets in the market. These headsets are very light, but very durable and well made. The sounds are very clear and sharp. But make sure to turn up the volume in your PS4 settings because they volume controls on your headset only goes as high and the volume in your PS4. Also, connection should be easy if you have your PS headphones settings to automatically detect them. Battery life is very good, I used them to play a couple of games. Then was watching a couple of The Walking Dead episodes. But Playing MBL The Show with these headsets will blow you away. It was like I was really in the game. Crowd chants, chatter and the ambient was very good. The crack of the bat when you hit the ball was awesome. It was like playing a totally different game. The packaging of the headphones and its accessories was very good. Lots of manuals also that shows you everything that you need to know about the headset and its features and connectivity. It has a detachable microphone. USB Connectivity, Optical cable connectivity, mute button, etc. The range of these headsets is very good. I was walking all around the house and even went to kitchen a couple of times with no problem with the sound. One minor gripe that I do have is that it takes a little bit of effort to adjust the ear pieces. If you have very weak hands, you will have a little bit of a problem adjusting them. Other than that, you gotta try this headsets to see for yourself how lightweight and comfortable they are. You can use this headsets for many hours without any discomfort. Perfect for streaming games and online gaming. Also good for watching YouTube, Hulu and Netflix if you don't want to bother other people in the house!

Durable, but very lightweight!

First impressions: Headset is light weight and very comfortable. Sound quality is very good. Play mostly Call of Duty and game sounds were very clear, I could clearly hear footsteps better than my Astro A40s. 
                    Cons: My only problems I have is the Game/Chat audio dial. I'm not sure if its a issue with the headset or settings on the PS4. When you turn the dial more towards game audio, All the audio would get lower, turn it towards Chat and all audio gets louder. Doesn't seem to do what it is supposed to do. My Astros have same option and it does work. 
                    All in All very good headset, fix the game/chat dial and I would have given them a 5 star rating.

RIG 700 HS Review

2 days into using this absolutely amazing battery life pros. Completely wireless I can walk grab my whole house without it going blurry or staticy and not continue to talk to my teammates Comfort is amazing can't even tell it's on my head also if you like to listen to music while gaming the base is unbeatable. The only con. Everything in the instructions is straightforward but when you get to step 3 the optical cable it did not mention nothing about these small rubber dust caps needing to be removed I tried and tried to jam it in not knowing about the Dust caps thank Lord I did not damage nothing and I found that I need to take them off hotter than that great product A-

Just one little hiccup

Boxing, if you're into that sort of thing, leaves much to be desired. Nothing fancy, it just gets the job done. However, it is made from recycled material though, so if you're more of a green person...then the boxing is A+.
                    
                    First thing I immediately noticed though is how light the headset is, especially for a wireless headset. I've had a number of Razer Headsets and Logitech wireless headsets and this is by far the absolute lightest headset I've ever handled. Fit is a bit weird though...there's not a slide like you would find on most headsets. Instead there are 3 total positions on each side that you have to snap the ear cup out of, then into a different slot. Basically, there's very few ways to adjust the size of the headset to try and fit your head.
                    
                    Additionally, I found that my ears got hot very fast. It's normal for my ears to have heat issues with headsets, but typically only over an extended period of time. Not so much with this headset, I noticed the heat within 15-20min of wearing them...which is the only thing that made them uncomfortable. Otherwise, they're so light you barely notice them and they didn't create any pressure points on the top of my head (an issue I've had with other headsets).
                    
                    Having the removable mic is a nice touch if you're going to be doing some solo play but still need a headset. Get it out of your face, but also removes additional weight from the headset (not that a mic is overly noticeable, but it's a considerate feature). While on the subject of the mic, sound quality overall is good. I'm no audiophile, so I can't really go into the quality of individual bass notes, or anything of that nature, but I found the sound quality to be more than substantial, hitting the high's and low's as needed / you'd expect.
                    
                    The headset also has a separate slider for chat vs. game audio that can be super clutch if you're in a party and playing a game with cut scenes or some sort of dialogue you want to hear but your friends tend to keep talking regardless.
                    
                    The biggest, for me, detractor though is the installation. It's not a direct connect setup, it's via a dongle but the dongle is weird. A lot of headsets, you just plug the dongle in and you're connected. Not this headset...you need to plug it in via USB so it gets power, then you also have to connect it to the digital optical audio out port on the back of your PS4. It doesn't end there however, you then have to go into your PS4's settings and tell it to output the audio via the DOA port instead of HDMI. So, every time you want to use this headset, you have to turn on the dongle, turn on the headset, then go into your settings.
                    
                    If you're an avid headset user, that may not be a big deal but it's just extra hassle that most other headsets on the market don't put you through. Given that there's nothing outside of the weight that really stands out to me though as a major plus to this headset, I'd say you could probably find another headset that has a major standout feature (or two), or is less of a hassle to simply use regularly, for the same or a similar price point.

Good headset for the money

i bought this about a week ago, it was broken out of the box. i returned the first one, and got a second one free of charge. the second one worked, but would always say that its muted, so i couldnt talk to anyone in a party,basically making it useless. nothing i tried fixed it. DO NOT BUY
