Great sound, amazing feel and versatile adjustment. One of the best headsets I have used in this price range, but also in general. Very comfortable. The charging base is a great feature, which I really love. All in all, very happy with my purchase. I am thinking of getting one for my Xbox Series X as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this rig 800 PRO HS I'll start by saying that these are one of the most comfortable headsets that I've used at this price range. I'm conscious that that varies from user to user, but for some perspective I have the Hyper X Cloud stinger core which hurt my ear after around 45 minutes of usage. These headphones are comparable to my SteelSeries 7X in the comfort department. I can easily use them for longer sessions without the soreness. I also like a lot the way the height of the headset is adjusted, it has 3 different levels of adjustment, no straps or Velcro which I appreciate.

I believe the sound levels and acoustics are pretty good, coming from a non-audio expert, I was able to play on my PS5 and PC, all bass and treble levels were good, and the sound was rich and great for my gaming purposes. I understand these are not 7.1 headphones but for the price I really enjoyed the quality they provided.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headset is wireless and requires a USB dongle to connect to a device. It worked flawlessly with my Playstation as well as PC.  I was only able to test the range to about 65-feet, but at the range, there was no static, disconnecting or anything of the sort.  

The charging station has an LED light.  When the unit it charging, it shines red.  When complete, it turns off.  So there's no worry of an annoying perpetual light after the headset is charged which is great! The charging station connects via USB. 

The headset itself is very light weight, which makes it very comfortable to wear for long periods of times.  The ear muffs are also cloud soft!  After 3hrs of wearing them, I completely forgot I was wearing them and attempted to touch my ear only to be surprised when I felt plastic. 

The headset has simple controls.  A volume knob, a microphone toggle knob, and a power on/off button.  The microphone is enabled/disabled when raised and lowered.  Fold the microphone into the headset and it disables the microphone, pull it down and it enables it.  

Upon turning the device on, you get an audible notification stating the battery level followed by whether or not it's connected.  

The headset is adjustable.  The headband strap can be removed and is also elastic.  Each ear muff has 3 possible positions but the muffs cannot swap sides.  The microphone is also permanently attached and not removeable.  

Sound quality is good, not great, but definitely good enough for most.  If you're an audiophile, I would look elsewhere.  The headset is NOT noise canceling, so background sound can be heard.

Lightweight, adjustable, and good sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since it arrived I've been using it for gaming and steaming mostly. The best thing is it's charging stand. It's not bulky and you can place the headset and remove it without any hassles. The connection is great. There are a couple control dials and a button on the headset that give you quick control of the setting. I'm happy with the sound quality and it provides some noise blocking. The fit is on the tight side. The only complaint I have is the size adjustment mechanism on the band. Instead of sliding you have to snap it on and off.

Decent headset for gaming and streaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] And sound this is the best headset I have ever owned. First of all the battery life is amazing and even better than what they advertise. I got over 24 hours because when I forgot to put it in the charge/holder and the next day I was still able to play another 12 hours. The other thing I really love is how light and comfortable it feels around my head especially my ears. I have big ears so some of the headsets that I have start bothering me after two hours this one I don't even feel late when I'm playing all day. Tell the great part was connecting to my PS five work without any issue it was plug and play and can't go wrong with it. Love everything about it really recommend it give it a shot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These RIG headphones are a comfortable fit. The quick charge dock is convenient, and they sit on it to charge without issue. The only complaint I have is the mute functionality. To mute the microphone arm has to be swung up. I prefer a button for mute.

My Biggest Frustration
The mic arm is extremely poorly designed! Every time you move it down to talk, you need to adjust the arm so that the mic is aimed at your mouth. When you finally get the position right and start speaking, all you hear is your breathing (from your nose).

Additionally, the mic button constantly resets to a different setting. The mute feature doesn't work correctly—when testing, I can still hear myself even when it's fully raised.

Another issue: from time to time, while wearing the headset, I hear a very high-frequency sound in a random ear.

I bought this headset back in December 2024 after my original Rig 500 (from the Plantronics era) started to wear out.
This is a general complaint I won't buy a headset with a flexable mic arm
please fix your mics!!!

Disapointing mic

who is the right mind would make a headset were i hear myself talk and there is no way to turn it off i can hear myself louder loud or low WHAT ARE U KIDDING ME headache in under 2 min delayed echo that makes me stutter DO NOT BUY WHY WOULD ANYONE EVER WANT THIS
