I saw this oil recommended in several forums. I used it for my 2022 Subaru Crosstrek. The container has a good ergonomic build. I'll probably buy it again.

Solid container build

I have used Royal Purple oil for several years, and it has out performed every oil I have poured into an engine. The oil is everything it promises. Superior lubrication, that not only makes your engine run quieter, but there is a bump in power, and fuel economy. I run this oil in my 1999 Jeep which runs as strong as the day I bought it, over twenty-three years ago. The additives clean the engine as it lubricates, and the oil itself is purple when it's fresh. With this oil you can safely extend the intervals between oil changes. The oil is top tier, and only complaint is I can no longer find the Royal Purple oil filter for my Jeep.

The Purple Stuff

The royal purple full synthetic runs great in my Subarus.  The 2.5l is known as an oil burner and with some synthetics I would be down a quart in 3000 miles.  Not with royal purple.  They run smooth as silk and don't burn any.  I have 2 subarus with 100k miles on them and both cars responded with the same results.  So I'm pretty confident in saying that the oil is worth it even if it costs a little more money.

I was introduced to Royal Purple by a customer, that he put it in his Lexus. So let me try it in mines, Royal Purple do what it needs to do. He told me change it every 5000 miles, but I'm use doing every 3000. But it does well for my SUV. The overall performance in my car/SUV it's very sound and never had problems with the engine, the oil is always clean when it's time to change it.  So Royal Purple is very good product.

Royal Purple Wins

I have been using this product for quite some time now. My car runs smooth and I feel better acceleration. Its expensive but worth it. Also, you can go longer between oil changes. Walmart price is better than every where else but they are not keeping Royal Purple products in their stores any more. That's not good.

Great Product

Would recommend Royal Purple products to anyone.   I own several vehicles that I mostly maintain myself.  When I do have an issue that needs a mechanics attention, they all hugely react to how miraculously clean the internals of my engines are.  By the way, ALL my cars have more than 200k, some more than 300k miles.  Walmart has the BEST price and it is ALWAYS available.   Highly recommended by yours truly.

Fantastic product

This oil is actually better than most of the full synthetic oil. Even after 600 to 7000 miles of driving, it still has very good viscosity not sludgish. I dare to say it's even better than Mobil 1. And I think it's in par with Liquid Moly which is a German oil that's way too expensive to use. But I did use Liquid Moly before and I'll say Royal Purple is in par with Liquid Moly but cheaper if you buy it from Walmart. So do buy your shopping from Walmart and save some money.

As good as if not better Liquid Moly.

At one point I wasn't a big fan of 100% synthetic oil, but that was forever changed after trying Royal Purple. There is no oil that compares with it that I have tried, and I have tried many. Getting an easy 10,000 miles between oil changes makes using this brand well worth the extra cost and keeps the 2010 Honda CR-V running like new.

Fantastic Oil

I use this in my truck instead of using mobile one. I seen a huge difference in the way my truck runs. It runs cooler and I get better gas miles than I do with using mobile one. You might pay a little bit more for royal purple But in a long run, it's extremely worth it.

Better quality is worth the price

I really wanted to like Royal Purple but the container always leaks, either from a bump or when pouring the used (cold) oil to take to the recycling. Filters are NEVER in stock for an F-150 or Explorer. Going back to Mobil 1 where i can always get matching oil and filters.
