This rain barrel is sturdy and also has a lot of eye appeal. I got it installed right before we had a pretty good storm and it filled up the 50 gallon barrel by 2:00 am. Yes, I was outside checking it. I am seriously considering purchasing a second one for the overflow.

Love the look of this Rain Barrel.  It looks strong and dependable.  It's not that expensive.  We haven't had a lot of rain lately; can't wait to get it filled up.  We're only allowed to water our yard once a week so this would be a big help.

Nice and Dependable Rain Barrel!

This is my second barrel.    It works best with gutters, but I use stock tanks and then move the water into the barrels….  I have them up on cinder blocks, so that I can put a jug under them,  if I am not using a hose.   A great way to harvest rain water.

Everything seems great. I haven't filled it with water yet. 
The plastic screen wouldn't fit the recess without trimming. It works but needs a little manipulation. Not a big deal, just trim and it sits flat with screws holding it.

I assembled this a few weeks ago, followed the instructions, and easy to assemble. This worked really well for a few weeks but now it has a constant leak coming from the spigot. It is too full now to return so I will just attempt to keep a bucket under the spigot at all times, however this does cause the bucket to overflow and flooding on ground. 
Also hooking up a hose to the spigot does not give enough water pressure to use with a hose. Only dribbles water out when valve is open.

Looks nice, not great quality

Very small opening for rain water to go in. I’ve bought one before from Walmart and it had a very large opening for rainwater.

The biggest problem with this rain barrel, is that the holes on the top screen are too small for the water to pass through. Water just runs off the top. I had to cut the screen and have the downspout go directly into it.  The product is of decent quality but needs a better drainage surface.

Read any five star reviews with a grain of salt because if you leave a five star review you can get paid $10. The product came with a piece of paper, explaining how to collect that $10 if you leave a five star review.

i had high hopes for this rain barrel.  Had new gutters installed and had a spot custom fitted for this barrel with a professional install.  What a waste of time and money.  We are in a drought.  Finally get rain in the forecast and the spigot will not stop leaking no matter what I do.  Disappointed and frustrated just doesn't seem to capture how I feel about this trash.  Off to find a higher quality product with a metal spigot and prayers for more rain soon.

Leaking Spigot- plastic low quality

The barrel had a small amount of rain water from fall and winter rains. Winter rain is not uncommon so when it turned freezing outside there is going to be water in it. After freezing and thawing  the bottom of the barrel has broke open and is now useless and a waste of money.

Do not buy this it is made of plastic. when I placed  it under my rain spout to fill, I saw that the plastic seam on the bottom had cracked in all of the water was running out. I have to throw it away now.
