The Race Ramps FlatStopper tire cradles help prevent flat spots when storing. They are made from a patented process using expanded polystyrene that is coated with a hybrid polyurea, so they are lightweight but very strong and durable. FlatStoppers were developed as a solution for people having problems with tires developing flat spots when a vehicle is parked for 30 days or longer. Once tires are set on FlatStoppers (on a level surface), they settle into the pad's concave depression, which helps support more of the tire. This disperses the weight of the car more evenly onto the tire – helping to prevent any flat spotting. The pads measure 28"" long x 3.29"" high x 14"" wide, and will accommodate tires up to 12"" wide. FlatStoppers will not conduct heat or cold into your tires despite changing floor temperatures. As with all Brute Industries products, FlatStoppers are made with the company's patented super-lightweight 100% solid construction technique – making them highly durable, virtually indestructible, and providing a 6,000 lb. vehicle weight capacity. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to try and prevent flat spots on my 2007 Pontiac Vibe. I am a "snow bird" and my car will sit in Florida for maybe 4 or 5 months at a time without moving. They are a bit pricey but they seem better than all the cheap ones I have looked at. It couldn't have been easier to drive up onto. I put the car where I wanted it and then put the storage ramps behind the tires, I backed the car where I wanted it, and then drove right up with just a touch of the gas. Easy peasy. They seem well made and they were easy to use and if they prevent flat spots on my tires, it will be worth the cost. I would highly recommend these if you are worried about flat spots when you store your car.

Nice flat spot preventer and easy to use

Purchased a set of these ramps to park my new Corvette on. Helps keep the tires from flat spotting and keeps them off the damp concrete floor. Fits my wide tires with room to spare. Have another set of these under a older Corvette for the last 3 years and the ramps still look brand new..

Great ramps

Wyoming winters dictate that I cannot drive my Mercedes from at least December to about April due to not only the snows but then the massive drifting we get in the back alley! My new ramps will help the tires from setting flat for that long period.Thank you for such a great product.

Hei i am a norwegian who orderd this flatstoppers for my car that is stored most of the year. the order process and the delivery was very good and was delivred quickly so GOOD work !!!! I hope also they work like intended not to get faltspots on tires when car is stored ..... time will show !!!

I got mines just in time for winter. Im storing my 2006 Mazda mx5 miata. I have custom 17x9 enkei wheels with 9" wide tires. The ramps were perfect as they are designed tO hold 10" wide. They were easy to load up onto. Just set them, and drive onto them. Done.

Good product

I purchased the "Flat Stoppers" about 3 months ago after noticing distinct flat spotting of my Cooper "Ultra Touring" tires when my car was parked for several weeks between drives; especially during the cold months. With the "Flat Stoppers", this has essentially been eliminated. The only reason I don't rate these a 5 star is because I've noticed some deformation on the Flat Stoppers edges due to driving on and off of them. I don't know yet if this will affect the life of these ramps.

Effective!

Service was great but the product is disappointing. Even with a clean, mopped garage floor, the rear ramps tend to displace when driving onto them. Use only for long term storage and expect the ramps to show tire impressions.
