Our daughter had been wanting a cart for her kitchen and we thought it would be a great family present for Christmas, so we started looking. After much research, this cart had the enclosed area as well as a drawer and an open shelf and looked like a perfect fit. Reading the reviews, we wondered about assembly, but decided to buy anyway. There are many places to purchase this cart priced from around $170 down to $96. Guess which one we decided on? We also decided that if it was cheap looking we could just return it to the Walmart, rather than have to ship it back to an online retailer. What a good buy we made. It is sturdy, all heavy wood (weighs a ton), nice handles, a LOT of pieces to assemble, but not very hard to do and it looks great. We hope our daughter likes it as much as we do. Don't hesitate to buy this one; just watch for the best price. Thank you Walmart.

Really nice sturdy cart

Good comparable price, was in a hurry to get so had shipped to local store, arrived sooner than expected during holiday season, packaged good, no damage, solid product, real hardwood, all parts and tools included, instructions easy to follow, assembly was fairly simple even by my self, purchased to replace one from Ikea that I gave to a friend years ago, fits well into the kitchen, very happy with purchase.

Great cart, just what I wanted...

I live in an RV and have 12 inches of counter space. I put this cart up on the sides and now have 48 more inches. I can prep on it and do my baking with ease now. I also needed 1 more drawer and more cabinet space so it works out great for me. I can store all my baking pans in the cabinet instead of in the oven! This is the perfect cart for my needs. Another plus is that it is on wheels so I can move it around.

perfect cart

I found this same cart on different sites for more than twice the amount and this also had free shipping.  It does come in parts, but the directions were very clear and it was fairly easy to put together.  It has solid wood, quality wheels, and handles.  The side "wings" make it quite versatile.  One of my neighbors was so pleased with it, she bought one, too.  I had a beautiful marble piece that fit the top perfectly.  I only wish it came with a slightly darker finish.

A solid, functional cart

This cart was a gift to my son. He sent me a picture of a different drop leaf cart. Checking out the reviews, I decided to upgrade to this cart. He was very impressed and said it went together very well. He is very pleased. I don't normally write reviews, but they were a big help in my decision to get this cart over the other one. Thanks to all who reviewed this cart for me.

Great cart for small kitchens

It was easy to put together (1 person). Directions were great. Pieces were labeled. It has a nice solid wood top. Definitely have to keep oiled and not use cleaning chemicals. It is the same kind of wood as my kitchen table so it will soak up liquids if left wet for too long. Overall I am happy with it. It's also nice that two of the wheels lock.

serves it's purpose

It is all about setup:
1. Only 4 parts out of the total of 20 plus parts had the alpha ID stickers. The instructions kept
referring to the parts by alpha ID that was NOT there!!
2. The Hex head screws could not be screwed into the hardwood with the supplied Hex key.
I had to: drill pilot holes; use Phillip head screws; use Power screwdriver
3. It took two people working together for most of the assembly.

Once assembled, it looks great and is fulfilling the purpose for which it was purchased.

Great product for price

This cart is very solid and I have used it daily, since I received it. I have limited counter space, and this makes food prep so much easier. I wish I had thought to buy one years ago. One compaint I have was the difficulty in finding the instructions in the box. They were wrapped up in between some of the shelves. After looking for them for quite awhile, I deducted they weren't in the box and began searching for assembly instructions online, which weren't to be found. It wasn't until I unwrapped EVERY piece that I found them. Once I did find them, it was easy to put together and I did the majority of it myself in under an hour. There was one point that I needed help from someone else to hold some pieces up while I screwed them in. All the holes lined up perfectly and each piece fit together nicely. My other complaint is that a couple of the pieces have spots in the wood that have been patched with a wood colored compound, of some sort. None of them are in spots that can be seen once the cart is together, but it still bothered me a bit that they were there at all. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend this product, if you need a little extra counter space but don't have alot of space or money for a kitchen island.

Solid Construction/Great Space Saver

This is a solid-wood product, it looks like pine with a clear finish. We used wood glue when assembling, and I'd recommend you do the same. Using wood glue and given that it is solid-wood, this is a very durable product that should last a long-time. Even the wheels appeared to be well-built and durable as well.

Over-all a nice product for the price. It is light-colored, it looks like pine with a clear-finish versus a stain. Keep that in mind if trying to match your cabinets. It is more of an accent piece meant to tie a kitchen together.

Very durable, takes a while to set-up.

only problem there is no extra screws, in the building one screw got stripped, was lucky to have one on hand. It would be good to have a few extra screws to insure building goes smoothly.

great construction

Could be a nice sturdy cart but we got two of the same piece and sent a message asking for the correct piece.  We were told we would be contacted within 48 hours but that was 8 days ago...it is still laying upside on our floor because it can't be fully put together without the missing piece.
