I bought this a month ago and glad I did. My children had other brands that did not last. Flyer scooter looks great is better quality and value. I highly recommend it and wouldn't waste a dime elsewhere.

High Quality Great Looking Scooters

radioflyer.com

My 6 year old son has had the smaller version for 3 years and has put 100,000 miles on it lol and it's still going. Only bought a new one because he outgrew the 1st one. Best scooter EVER!

Couldn't be happier

walmart.com

The Radio Flyer Glider Pro Scooter is a perfect scooter for my 8 year old son. The stability of the 3 wheels lets him glide around at fairly fast speeds. I love that I can adjust the handlebar with ease and I don't have to drag out an entire tool box. The wheels light up as the scooter moves. With daylight saving time in full effect, my son can use his scooter outside for slightly longer than normal. This lightweight scooter can easily be brought inside. My son even uses the scooter in the house.

Perfect Scooter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to test and try out! It was super easy to put together took maybe 10 minutes if anything. I have a 2-year-old 4 year old and 6-year-old and all of them were able to ride it with ease. My two-year-old got it right away! I love the added bonus of light up wheels!

Love it !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample of the product to test and review. We absolutely love this Radio Flyer scooter. My 7 year old said it's the best scooter he has ever seen. It was very easy to assemble and set up. It took me less than 15 minutes. The instructions were clear and simple. My son loves the lights on the scooter and I love it for when we go out around dusk. I can always see him and so can other people. The scooter is well made and very sturdy. It feels high quality and looks it too. It's lighter than I expected but doesn't miss out on the quality. We all would highly recommend it.

We all love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Radio Flyer in exchange for my honest review. I honestly can't say enough good things about this product, my son loves it! The assembly was so simple. It's lightweight and very durable. I myself love the light up wheels, so awesome. He's already got so many hours of fun out of this scooter and I'm truly happy He's enjoying spending time outside. I'm looking forward to getting one for my nephew when they're back in stock. Thank you so much for this opportunity you definitely exceeded our expectations.

Great product and so durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Radio Flyer provided me our family with a black Flyer™ Glider Pro with Light Up Wheels! It was easy to assemble and didn't take long at all. We had been in search of a new scooter for our 8 year old and this was perfect. It is sturdy and allows her to steer easily from side to side. The light up wheels are great and seem to light up as soon as the spinning begins. My daughter commented that she liked how quickly the brake would work when she pressed on it. There was also plenty of room for her feet on the scooter and more room for adjustment on the handle bar. The only con was that her other scooter had a folding handle bar to make it more compact, but other than that, we love this scooter.

Perfect for older kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to test and try out.

As a parent of six children ranging from 1 to 11 years old, I always want to ensure that the products I purchase are safe, fun, and functional. Recently, we tried out the Radio Flyer Flyer Glider Pro with Light-Up Wheels with four of our kids, ages 5 to 11, and after several days of use, I'm ready to share my honest expectations for anyone considering this scooter for their child.

Build Quality and Design
The Radio Flyer Flyer Glider Pro has a solid build, with metal handlebars and sturdy plastic makes up the base. It has a sleek matte black finish that looks modern and stylish. After testing it for a few days, there are no noticeable issues with the scooter's design.

Performance
Our kids found it easier to handle and turn compared to other brands of scooters we own. We tested it on a variety of surfaces, including sidewalks, paved roads, and our boy even inadvertently tried some off-roading on small rocks—though that didn't work out too well for him! On our sidewalk, which is usually littered with small rocks; often tripping up our kids' scooters and skateboards, our kids had no complaints while riding the Flyer Glider Pro. The scooter has larger wheels that seem to help it glide smoothly over cracks in the sidewalk. The scooter's wheels have shown no signs of damage, unlike other scooters we've had, which have developed dents or chunks missing from the rocks. All of our kids, from 5 to 11, were able to turn and stop without any issues, and they felt confident using it. The light-up wheels are a fun touch that all of the kids really enjoyed, especially when riding at night. The lights are bright, adding a fun factor that kept our kids entertained. The Flyer Glider Pro is a great scooter that will grow with your child as they age.

Ease of Use and Assembly
Assembling the Flyer Glider Pro took just 15 minutes and required only a screwdriver. I was surprised by how easy it was to put together, and the quality of the materials exceeded my expectations. The handlebar height is adjustable, and even my 6-year-old can adjust it by herself. The handlebar easily snaps into place and can be removed by pressing a snap button and pulling it out. However, it does require some force to push the button in enough to pull out the handlebar, which could be a minor inconvenience for younger children.

Pros
Smooth, quiet ride and easy to maneuver.
Light-up wheels that add a fun element, especially for night rides.
Easy assembly, taking only about 15 minutes.
Adjustable handlebar height that is simple for kids to adjust themselves.

Cons
You cannot change the color of the light-up wheels.
The button to disassemble the handlebar can be difficult to push in fully, requiring some effort.

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Radio Flyer Flyer Glider Pro is a great scooter for kids. It works well on paved roads and sidewalks, and it's easy for children to ride. If you're looking for a scooter for a child between 5 and 12 years old, particularly if you live near paved roads or sidewalks, this scooter is definitely worth considering. It offers a smooth ride, durability, and a fun light-up feature, making it a great choice for young riders.

I would highly recommend this scooter to anyone looking for a reliable, fun ride for kids in this age range!

Honest Review/Product Tester

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. When I purchased the "Pro" model, I was expecting something a bit more substantial. I purchase the scooter for my soon-to-be 9 year old granddaughter. She is average size and weight. The bed of the scooter is too short for her to place both feet on the bed without connecting to the brake. This is her first scooter. She loves it. I don't think it will suit her for too long. Her friends in the neighborhood have lesser known scooter brands that seem to be better suited size-wise and made of more durable material, i.e., steel.

Scooter seems more toy-like than I was expecting.
