The Elevate Outdoor Bicycle Storage Hanger Rack is quick to setup, use, and is an ideal way to optimize available bike storage space in the garage, apartment, living room, basement, or shed. Each bicycle storage stand extends from 63" to 114" high to create a stable, convenient support bar with dual pivoting bike hangers and hooks. Storage hanger hooks are spaced 11.75" to 15.625" apart and will fit most bicycle frames up to 2" diameter. The bike stand holds one or two bicycles with provided hangers and hooks. To use the bike hanger, simply locate ceiling joists or studs for solid placement, then telescope open to the approximate size required. Unscrew padded feet equally on each end until bar will stay in place, and tighten by turning entire bar firmly by hand at the foam grip. Be sure not to over-tighten or use tools; Over-tightening may cause damage to floor and/or ceiling. Do not exceed the maximum safe working load of 110 pounds. Includes a rubber insert which must be used with the top hanger arm.

I used to have this item many years ago and liked it.  recently, I've tried to clean up the garage and store all the bikes in a reasonably tidy yet accessible fashion and purchased this.  it's important to install it under a joist so it holds tension.  I store one heavyish and one lighter bike on this rack and it works great.  is it super sturdy?  no, but it's stout enough to serve our needs and for the price, offers a good storage solution.

Functions as described, and installation is simple. For what is intended, this meets the mark. It's essentially a curtain rod that holds bikes. For a simple solution for bike storage, this is an excellent  low-cost solution .

A magnificent concept works any place saves space and remarkably strong. Holds two full-size bicycles. Highly recommend it. Great price as well. Make sure you measure the height before buying in case you have tall ceilings it will not fit. This stand can be used inside or outside.

I needed the space and it did just what I needed lift a bike

I live in a two bedroom apartment. My kitchen is my bike maintenance area. By luck an on line search brought up this bike storage rack. This was just what I needed. Set up was quick and easy. Only thing I had to do was place an empty cigar box at the top to spread out the pressure point.

I hate complicated set ups, this was not!

This bike rack is perfect for a rental property. It fits together quickly with no tools or studs needed to provide support.

No Studs. No Problem.

With only two contact points it is easily adjustable into any space you need to fit your bikes. I've got seven bikes and am seriously considering replacing the remaining two free-standing racks in favor of these.

The best!

Sturdy and easy to install. Only thing keeping it from getting a 5 star is if your bike has a slanted cross bar such as a hybrid, the bike will not be balanced on the bar and the wheels will not stay straight.

Easy to install

The upper part of the pole lacks sufficient thickness and is too smooth for the mount to be securely tightened. Consequently, when a bike is positioned, the mount tends to slip down the pole. While it may suffice for children's bicycles, it's inadequate for adult-sized ones.
