I use a 14-1/2 inch toilet and need additional height in order to safely stand up. Adding a 3-inch riser wasn't enough for me and I was afraid I would fall. The Carex raised toilet seat brings me up to 20 inches, so it is now easy and safe for me to stand without fear of falling. The seat feels secure and doesn't slip at all. I wish the opening was a little larger but safety first! I clean the bottom of the seat after every use with a “wet wipe" -- a small price to pay to be able to sit on a toilet and stand safely.

like it alot have some nerve damage making it diffcult to bend at knees. this riser makes it easy. also feels very sturdy not flimsy. it feels like a regular seat. its sort of concaved on the top helping make it feel safe. no issues with tipping when you move.

I ordered this raised toilet seat for my husband who has pains in his knees plus is over 300 lbs.  he had a real hard time getting up from a chair and a regular toilet seat.  He is very pleased with the new seat.  It really helps him get up easily.  I just ordered another one for the other bathroom so he does not have to carry the same one every day.   A good price, too.

Helpful

I find this toilet seat very helpful and easy to use and get up from.  It has been a blessing for me as my knees are very badly affected with arthritis and I had extreme difficulty getting down and up to use the toilet.  This makes it much easier to accomplish these tasks and I do not have the severe pain and discomfort in the process.  It has made a wonderful improvement to my every day activity and I truly appreciate  the difference it has made in my life!

Have had hip replacement @ Had to have repairs done @ the only toilet left was waaaay to low.  This will fit any toilet @ has rubber things on the bottom... Just sit still and you will have no problem.  You have to have both parts of the seat open for this one.  Hope this helps.

Should work on any toilet...

This shipped very fast and arrived earlier than expected.  Easy to install and very stable.  The height is very comfortable.  This is a big help for people with knee injuries. A Great and useful product! Thank you.

Surprised how great this item worked. I thought it might slip but I promise you it did not budge at all. Great price great hight especially to use after a surgery where fully bending isnt the best idea.

This is a replacement to my old one and its just fine. No problems, and even was less costly than my 22 year old one. The new one arrived today 11/19/22. There was no delay in getting it at all. Thanks Walmart and staff, once again.

All is good!

I was reluctant to buy this after reading some of the reviews, but I so glad I gave it a chance. Works perfectly for individuals with bad knees, and there's no problem with sliding around like some others have stated.

Good product

The original one I purchased in 2012 was made from a hard molded plastic and lasted for 7 years.  The one I purchased last year busted after 9 months because it was made of a lighter plastic.  I hope this one lasts longer than nine months.  The seat is great if you can not get off a normal toilet because of arthritis or other health conditions.  I take mine with me when I travel so I can more independent and not have to rely on someone to assist me.

Nice for mobility issues

toilet seat does not snap into place. Just moves around on toilet seat. Thought it would be a one size fits all. very dissapointed.
