Updated technology.  Very easy to install.  Liked the touch control panel makes the cooktop smooth.  Heating zone booster for fast and extra heat power.

I purchased this cooktop im mar 2021 and installed it myself. For starters, to replace my existing glass cooktop( which had cracked) with the same brand was twice as much as it was when I bot it 13 years earlier and almost 3 times as much as this Ramblewood. They had also changed the configuration of the knobs to along the side which didn't work with my counter top. It is very easy to to cook with and if your frying something that spatters the cleanup is so easy. I can remember pulling all 4 knobs and cleaning them and under them. with this totally smooth top I just put Weimans glass cooktop cleaner on it and with a couple paper towels it is absolutely clean in no time.

I wish my other cooktop had broken earlier

the top surface is a little smaller than most cooktops...the extra size elements settings is cool but u may need to call  Micro-Trim, Inc to make an extension ring 1/2 inch larger to seal any openings in the counter after u set the cooktop in place...if the hole to mount it in is existing and a little big
