I have been using this body wash exclusively for over a year.    I typically buy 2 or three bottles at a time, depending on the size being offered.   The formula for this product has change obviously changed. It used to have 14 or 15 natural sounding ingredients and now it seems to have more of what I call "chemicals".   As others have noted it used to thick and luxurious and now it is thin and poorly performing.  I can supply batch numbers if desired.

I implore the Shea Moisture (Sundial Brands) to switch back to the older formula even if it costs more.   I am one customer that is willing to pay more if necessary to get a quality product.

Apparently this company sold out and the new Corp changed the formulas.  I notice that my new bottle of this smelled very unpleasant compared to the previous bottle, and the consistency is more like water than body wash.  You can see in the photos that the previous version had a longer list of items not added in and the color difference between the old and new version.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried my bottle of this Raw Shea Body Wash today. First, it's a nice size bottle. The formula is very thin and almost watery. I definitely recommend dispensing it on to a washcloth or body pouf. It says it lathers up, but I couldn't get much of a lather. I feel like I had to use a lot! The fragrance is light and nice. It says it has frankincense and myrrh... So, I thought it might have a strong fragrance. This is for dry skin. My skin actually isn't very dry other than hands and feet. It did leave my skin feeling clean and moisturized. I'm not sure I would purchase this. Maybe it'll grow on me after more uses...

Shea Moisture Body Wash!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions: not a product I would gravitate to based on smells. I tend towards bright an citrusy. This wash is a more musky sort of spice smell. Then, I was struck by reading the ingredients and not seeing water as the first ingredient. It was aloe!         
   I used this the first time on a day I got a little sun. The smell was actually quite lovely, and went away fairly quickly. My skin felt pretty moisturized post shower; but I did follow up immediately with a lotion/aloe hybrid just to be safe (my skin is extremely dry naturally, and I wasnt messing around with my mild sunburn). I am excited to use this again!

Moisture in a bottle!

I've wanted to try this brand since it's paraben/phthalate free. l love beauty products that contain frankincense and shea butter and this  wash contains both! The smell is extremely mild. I did find the product rather runny. I didn't notice any moisturizing affect post shower. It didn't irritate my skin.

I had not previously tried this brand and was excited to have the opportunity to. The formula is a little more runny than I normally expect from a body wash however you can still get a nice lather from it. The scent is pleasant but not one I would choose for myself. It did leave my skin feeling soft and moisturized.
