Batteries

This is my second one of the same model. My first one is at least 10 years old. It is still working after many bumps and drops through countless kids' hands and working like a champ. Bought the second one for camping.

Portability is great ! Battery doesn't die after hours of use , can use in rain n can drop in mud n still work , n can shine  brightness to the max !

I have 2 of these. Best flashlight I've ever owned. Grip is comfortable. The brightness and beam focus simply fit my needs.   I've dropped them and they just bounce and still work. Everyone that uses them makes positive comments. Planning to give a few away for Xmas this year.  
Obtw, saw the review where the reviewer had a stripped screw...hogwash...these flashlights do not have hardware for disassembly to replace the batteries.  Just unscrew the lamp/lens end, slip in the new batteries, align and replace the end and go.  easy.  
You can't go wrong with this one.

I loved using this light as a source of illumination for night photography shoots.  It worked perfectly for a couple of months, until I opened it up to see how to switch out the batteries, and then it stopped working altogether.  It has never been jarred, dropped or immersed in water, and the battery contacts are clean as new.  I have checked the batteries, reloaded them properly over and over again, and made sure that the light head was properly seated in the inner slots and outer grooves before screwing it back on.  I used it carefully and the flashlight shows no signs of wear.  What can I do to get it working again?  But for this fail I would recommend this flashlight to a friend.

What Went Wrong?

Nice spotlight wish it was a little strong.

Have had one of these for Well over a year - son âborrowedâ. and loved it, so i bought me another. Takes 6 AA batteries that must be replaced exactly following arrows and cues inside to work. No problem. About to buy 2 more so i donât have to replace those clunky 6 volt batteries in my other spotlights (they wear out immediately).

Awesome spotlight!

Purchased this spotlight a few years ago for outdoor adventures.  Have used it camping, boating, etc.  Recently a couple friends and I launched from Hemingway Harbor on Lake Mead during the dark of night.  This handheld spotlight enabled us to find our desired campsite without incident.  I read the negative reviews about battery changes; my comment is this spotlight is "almost" idiot proof.  I've even loaned my light out a few times and it was returned in perfect working order.

Exceeds expectations

Too bad.  This thing really is built like a tank but I guess the electrical components ... not so much.  Trigger on/off switch worked sometimes, sometimes not, then when I changed batteries, the whole thing went dark.  I've heard similar complaints about this product.  Again, too bad.  It's a beast (if only it would work).

Trying to replace the 6 AA batteries……now flashlight won't work. …..and yes, putting batteries in as directed .  Been using it and have liked it til now

Battery replacement issue !

I received this as a gift and it worked well.  For some silly reason, I opened the flashlight to see  what kind of batteries were in the flashlight.  It has never worked again!  No light as the trigger seems to be different.  No noise, clicks or resistance made by the trigger.  Of course that could be normal… as the light is practically brand new and I used it only a five times
