[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my heart set on a cast iron stove look for my electric fireplace, and I went back and forth between this one and the Foster electric, which is a bit less expensive. Im so glad i went with this one, it's a real iron stove with NO PLASTIC that just happens to be electric, which is exactly what I wanted. I love that I can use it without heat, it almost makes me feel sorry for my friends with real fireplaces. 🤣 The flames look good although I wish there was a more yellow option. I love that I can change the brightness of the logs as well. It's also designed really well in that if I ever want to upgrade the insert it just sits inside the cast iron stove frame and it's a standard size. I do wish it had sound but that was easily solved with a small Bluetooth speaker hidden among the real logs I put in the bottom. I used tire valve cover caps with some fun tac over the screw holes in the wall pipe rather than attach it, and over the screws on the bottom of the pipe so they would look like cap bolts. Assembly would have been under 15 minutes but the parts were not labeled and it was hard to tell which side-faced out. All the trays face down or in, I hope that helps the next person! Overall I'm absolutely thrilled with my fireplace.
