The MPR-CL II is more than just a nodal slide rail. It features a built-in screw-knob style clamp, compatible with any Really Right Stuff camera base plate or L-plate. This allows for easy mounting of your camera body and ensures precise alignment with the help of center reference marks. To further enhance your photography experience, the MPR-CL II is equipped with a high-visibility spirit level at the front end. This provides a clear leveling indication, making it easier for you to capture perfectly balanced shots. For meticulous photographers, the MPR-CL II offers a laser-engraved scale on either side. This feature allows for precise positioning relative to the reference mark in the clamp below, giving you full control over your camera setup. The MPR-CL II also doubles as a mounting rail for our B-Series/FR-Series orbital style flash brackets when using non-collared lenses. The rail clamps to the camera plate and extends forward below the lens, allowing the flash bracket to slide onto the top dovetail and offering a variety of available positions.
