We have been using this product forever!! We put it in our tiki torches that form a circle around our campfire while camping. We have very little issues with mosquitoes since we've been doing this.

This oil burns clean and provides great illumination.  Perfect use for starting fires also.

This gives a great flame and gives off a not bad scent when in use. Seems to help with the mosquitoes when outsiwith the family

Tons of black smoke and soot. Not sure if this is normal but i would have expected it to burn a little cleaner. Seemingly no effect on bugs.
