This my third similar feeder. My birds love it and so do I. Holds all kinds of seeds and very easy to clean. I love that it is made of recycled materials.

I have always used bird ball feeders. I liked that there was air flow around the seeds, but as the seed level got lower, the birds had trouble getting to the bottom. Then I saw this feeder, and I was so excited for the birds to try it. It's sturdy, made with recycled materials, and the birds absolutely love it! It's easy to clean. A mourning dove showed up recently and I wondered if it would hold it. No problem. I would recommend this to anyone.

Best bird feeder ever!

I have had a traditional two sided feeder that I took down and replaced with this platform feeder. I had difficulty with the two sided feeder not being large enough to enable nuts and fruit to get through. These nuts and fruit are mostly in the waste free blends. But the waste free was wasted in the two sided feeder because it would go moldy. In the platform feeder I put a half a cup a day. It is eaten by nightfall and is truly no waste. I wish I had gotten the larger feeder.

Platform Feeder

This is a sturdy little feeder that holds a generous amount of seed for its size. Birds took to it immediately with many species visiting, including chickadees, gold finches, hairy woodpeckers, blue jays, titmice, nuthatches and evening grosbeaks. I am very happy with my purchase.

Attracts many species

Inexpensive. Big enough for several birds to eat at one time. The birds like these over some of the other feeders with perches. 
Good craftsmanship. Holds a good amount of seed.  Easy to hang.  Easy to clean. You can add a hanging shelter over the top to keep the rain off the seed.

Very happy with purchase. Recycled material will be long lasting. Mesh screen, though not removable, is very sturdy. I'm using it for a hanging squirrel feeder. The metal hanger arms are great! Squirrels can jump on the feeder and it never tips!
One thing to clarify: The description says 10" square. Mine is 9.5" (using outer measurements). Nice smaller feeder. I may re-order the larger version.  Great price for the quality!

Sturdy, Long Lasting

Birds just love this feeder and as a birdwatcher it's awesome because it's open and I have clear view of the  birds.

The birds took to the feeded within 3 hours

I have had many types of bird feeders over the years and this is now one of my favorites.  Well constructed with a screen for drainage and a good size for birds large and small.  Looks good too!

Bird watcher

This feeder is well built but very small.  If you have small birds like, sparrows and finches then this will work but larger birds do not fit well. The metal holders are sturdy but short and are permanently held together but an 8 ring.

Smaller than I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I liked the concept of the bird feeder being made of recycled material, I thought the quality and workmanship lacked a bit. I'm not quite sure if I'd recommend this product as it's more or less on the dainty side for my particular taste.
