Weight category: 4, 100% acrylic, Solids: 5oz/140g, 256yd/234m. Prints and Heathers: 4oz/113g, 212yd/194m. Gauge: knit: 17 st x 23 r = 4in(10cm) on size 8/5mm needles, crochet: 12 sc x 15 r = 4in(10cm) on size I9/5.5mm hook. No dye lot solids, multi's and Heathers are dyelotted: We try but are not always able to match dyelots. Care: machine wash (max.temp. 104F/40C), tumble dry, do not bleach, do not iron, dry cleanable. Red Heart ♥  Soft Yarn

While this isn't my yarn choice for the beanies I crochet, it is perfect for my mini beanies make on a 22 pin knitting machine.

Red Heart Soft, Guacamole & Red, White

All the qulaity and sturdiness of Red Heart with the added luxury of a soft yarn to wrap yourself up in a blanket or your neck or head on a scarf or hat.

Red Heart's best yarn

Purchased only one skein because the color "Wheat" went with my palette.  Most of my project uses Patons Canadiana.  The softness and comfort of working with this Red Heart Soft is lovely.  It is a bit heavier than the Patons, which is ok for a small blanket.  I will remember this one for the future.

Comfortable and Pretty Surprise

As the name suggested that this was a ‘soft' yarn, I purchased it to knit a baby sweater. I have completed the sweater and did not find it to be particularly soft at all. I am really hoping that once I wash it, I will notice a big difference, otherwise I will not be able to use this for a baby gift and will need to knit something else with different yarn.

Not really ‘soft'

The colors are beautiful but to be honest I don't plan on purchasing this particular brand of yarn again. Between the splitting and ball being all tangled up in the center it made it quite difficult. I absolutely loved the pattern and Mikey is the best.

Love and hate relationship.
