I used it to make slippers and scarves. I like that it has body and softness...the finished items feel almost spongey. I think it would be great for making blankets. I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my very favorite yarn for blankets and anything granny! It is perfect for baby gifts because of the wash-ability. It only seems to get softer and more luxurious after washing and a light tumble dry. New mothers don’t have the time to take care of delicates, so I gift them something they won’t have to be afraid to use and launder.

Love the volor selections, the feel of this yarn is perfect  for baby blankets,  ear warmers, scarves, well just about everything

I purchased the colors red, whit and blue.  The blue is much thinner than the red and white.  I’m kind of disappointed with that since I’m making a lap blanket to donate to hospice for veterans in their care. I do like the softness of the yarn.

Seems to be thicker and stiffer than the other colors. I know from experience it will soften in the wash.

The first skein had a knot on my second row.  Two other skeins apparently were not put together from the start meaning the two tails were coming out the same end.  I threw one aside and continued my pattern.  The second skein I can not find the end to even start it.  I'm done with Red Heart.  I used to love it too.  Sad.

Not happy with it.
