This yarn is the best variegated yarn that I've found. The texture flows smoothly, it is substanstial enough for many projects and the colors are concentrated and lovely. I have produced sweaters, granny squares, afghans and baby blankets that incorporated this yarn. I am so concerned it will be discontinued that i have been hoarding it whenever it is on sale.

Beautiful colors! I picked this for a hooded sweater in crochet squares, it's beautiful. I am impressed with how well the blended colors keep a uniform gauge, very consistent throughout several cakes. Easy to crochet with for hours, comfortable feel.

I haven’t used this color yet but I loved the other melange colors so much I got this one for future projects. I’ve made cardigans and hats out of the others and loved the multi color effects that the yarn offers. Other brands multi color yarn doesn’t have the variety that Red Heart foes

My favorite yarn💕

I fell for the Catwalk colorway when I saw a project made using it. Now I'm making one of my own, and loving the subtlety of the color shifts. The yarn has enough twist to make crocheting easy. And with 389 yards per cake, it goes a long way. I've found a couple of knots, but not many, and this is a value-priced yarn so I won't quibble. It's gorgeous and I'm happy with my purchase

Color, yardage and value — tough to beat it

Found and purchased this yarn to make a variegated granny squares.  Red Heart is my yarn of choice. I don't know the date RH started production but I've crocheted since i was 8 and now 72.  I now have to do mail order because up here in NE Alabama are those big retail stores. I did not receive any incentive(s) to review this product.

Addicted Yarn Hoarder - Certified

I think I’m most excited about the Red Heart Roll With It Mélange yarn in my order. It is stunning!!! So soft. So gorgeous. I purchased three colorways: Hollywood, Midnight Topaz and Showtime. I love them all but I’m dying to start with Midnight Topaz!! Two of these (for sure Midnight Topaz) I’m going to make into HexiCardis. The other I will probably make into a shawl. I’m excited to see the finished items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm on my seventh cake of this yarn (making a sweater) and absolutely love it. It's soft to the touch, and with colors blending so beautifully within the cake, it makes up into a real work of art. I've had no trouble frogging a few places where I made mistakes, but keeping an easy tension helps to keep the fibers from tangling. When they do, a gentle but firm tug releases them.

Makes up into a gorgeous outcome.

I have this yarn because I wanted a pattern that was shown using it.  The only color that came with the pattern I didn't care for as much as others offered, so I went ahead and purchased the colorway I wanted.  I read in some comments that people were distressed about the 'thick and thin' properties of this yarn. Yes, a little of it gets pretty darned thin, but that is the nature of it. I can definitely deal with that. I'm almost done with the project and it's gorgeous (the yarn I bought is "Catwalk").
There were no knots, no splitting, and the yarn was easy to work with. It seems to drape nicely (I'm using a "V" stitch with a 5mm hook).  It is a V neck tee for summer.

Gorgeous colors in this yarn

I love the color scheme of ''Theater".  I am making a sweater consisting of different sized squares and not one square is the same as the other which will make a really interesting garment.  However, there have been a few places within each skein where the yarn is noticeably thinner or thicker than the rest of the yarn.

Beautiful Colorway

The color pattern in the yarn does not meet the color pattern displayed in the pattern example. Specifically, there is more mixed undefined color than main color, much less of the bright color than the mixed . I’ve crocheted through 3 rolls and this is prevalent throughout. The advertised color scheme is the reason for buying the rolls and needless to say, the results are disappointing for having spent a significant amount for the project. The product is “catwalk”. 
This feels like a “bait and sell” . Red heart can do better.
