This yarn is the best variegated yarn that I've found. The texture flows smoothly, it is substanstial enough for many projects and the colors are concentrated and lovely. I have produced sweaters, granny squares, afghans and baby blankets that incorporated this yarn. I am so concerned it will be discontinued that i have been hoarding it whenever it is on sale.

I fell for the Catwalk colorway when I saw a project made using it. Now I'm making one of my own, and loving the subtlety of the color shifts. The yarn has enough twist to make crocheting easy. And with 389 yards per cake, it goes a long way. I've found a couple of knots, but not many, and this is a value-priced yarn so I won't quibble. It's gorgeous and I'm happy with my purchase

Color, yardage and value — tough to beat it

Yes, I recommend, BUT I chose this yarn for a new pattern as a novice crocheter.  If I make this pattern again I'll chose a less fuzzy, more sleek yarn.  So.... it depends upon how you plan to use it.  This yarn is great for something that is not going to see a lot of wear.

I love the colors and the yarn is very soft and easy to work with. The only issue is that it snarls easily.

I like the colors, %26 softness. But I was very surprised when it arrived, %26 it's this tiny circle of yarn. It's only 5.29 ounces, instead of the advertised 5.3 lbs. Clearly for small projects, not enough for much more than hot pads. And it's much too nice for that.  I wanted it to make a scarf. When I'm making an afghan, I buy larger skeins, so less knots, better pattern.

Misleading weight

The color pattern in the yarn does not meet the color pattern displayed in the pattern example. Specifically, there is more mixed undefined color than main color, much less of the bright color than the mixed . I’ve crocheted through 3 rolls and this is prevalent throughout. The advertised color scheme is the reason for buying the rolls and needless to say, the results are disappointing for having spent a significant amount for the project. The product is “catwalk”. 
This feels like a “bait and sell” . Red heart can do better.
