Red River  is a Canadian brand with over 75 years of history. It is an all natural cereal made with no additives. Over the years Red River has brought to users a hot cereal with a high source of fibre and the goodness of flax. The flax in Red River  Hot Cereal is what sets it apart from most other whole grain cereals. While other grains contain only one type of fibre, flax provides the extra benefits of both soluble and insoluble fibre.

Red River Hot Cereal is a favorite from my childhood.  Fifty years later, it is still the same.  It's made with a variety of grains, has nice texture, and is particularly good with a bit of butter and maple syrup.  As a U.S. citizen, I was disappointed to learn that it was not available in the States, but I had Walmart.CA ship it to a Canada Post branch in Ft. Erie, ON, and after a quick 30 minute trip across the border, it was in my kitchen.

Great cereal.  Flawless fulfillment.

Been making red river cereal bread for years.  Adds a great chew, and nice flavour, with a bit of molasses

Excellent hot cereal, great in bread

So healthy, natural, and tasty. I love the taste and texture, especially with a bit of oat milk and brown sugar. Brings me back to my childhood, I'm glad it's still around.

Really tasty with some brown sugar and milk. Easy to make, fills you up and gives you energy for your day.

Good healthy hot cereal

Terrified when I found out Loblaws  and Foodland had discontinued it.  Can't find it in nearby Walmart outlet.

What happened to this product? I grew up loving this cereal, but now everytime I make it it is a gross mucus mass. I've tried both cooking methods with the same results. Disgusting.
