Sophisticated

It was pretty much what I expected. It is very lightweight and was easy to put together all I know I'm satisfied it could've been a little bit better using a different wood, but the price point was good for the item.

Love this bamboo hamper! Unfortunately, one of the side panels had come apart sometime between boxing up the parts and shipping to me. This revealed the inadequacy of the joining/gluing dowels, some of which had broken. The bamboo parts, on the other hand, are in fine shape, so rather than extending the waiting time before I could use it by going for a replacement, I drilled out the bad dowels (they actually seemed made from pressed wood chips!) and replaced them with dowels I formed from good wood. After gluing the joints of the side panel back together, assembly was a snap. What would have taken me 15 minutes to assemble morphed into a 2-hour project. Nevertheless, I do like the result a lot.

Nice, Stylish Hamper, But...

I liked the design and weight.  It was a little challenging to put together.  We didn't get any instructions with ours.  For what I paid for it I didn't expect it to have huge slivers hanging off of it but I don't know much about bamboo.  It looks nice in our bedroom.  I think it was overpriced.

Pros and Cons

Very poor quality wood. It has sprinters All over it. The screw holes were not properly drilled. I had to sand it and redrill holes before putting together.

Would not recommend. Poor quality.
