This scale is awesome and accurate.
The surface is a little slippery to weigh the dog, but I put a small kitchen rug, with anti slip backing! My best way to use it is to put the crate on top of scale with rug on!  I have 2  large German Shepherd. It works great, I turn on the weight display on before putting the dog in, using the table top display since the cage is on scale with the small rug on covering the scale,  I would recommend this item . I had it for a week now and happy with the purchase .
