The Reese Towpower Dual Hitch is a well made, heavy duty multipurpose extension.  I used it to carry my bicycle rack over my hitch on my last trip and it was secure with no problems.  The 2" extension is made of extra thick 5/16" steel with a 1" overlap into the receiver.   The receiver and riser are made of 1/4" steel.  The welds are deep and substantial.   I am very happy with it.

Just what I was looking for.

The dual hitch was just what we needed to keep our basket from dragging when entering and exiting parking lots. Also raised the basket enough to help the husband be able to put things on basket without having to bend over so far. He uses a walking can and has trouble with his balance so have the basket higher helped.

Just what we needed

Works as advertises and is made better than "generic" dual hitches.

I pull a pop-up camper and wanted to add a canoe carrier above the bed of the truck.  

This extends the hitch enough that I can attach the camper and not have the canoe carrier in the way of the trailer ball or locking mechanism. 

Less expensive on Wal-Mart online vs. going to the store.

redrilled hole as stock put extension to far out ,now setup as I like upper hitch works ok for bike rack this is just so I don't have to remove receiver. have to remove rack as hits jack on both trailers , not going to replace and relocate jacks.

Not sure where the rest bought their dual hitch receivers but the one I bought in the store, wouldn't accept my hitch in the main receiver. Had some of my friends try theirs and still couldn't getany of their hitchs into the main receiver. Took back to store, advised it was defective and tried the rest of the ones (3) on the shelf. Not one accepted any of the new 2" hitches either. Leaving tomorrow to camp and now can't take my bike with my trailer.
