It works as described, I've seem similar locks at a higher price. It has a cover where the key is inserted to keep it clean. I would but it again.

At $12 this is a value. Has more traditional lock with 2 keys and a tight fitting vinyl cover for key insert end. I'm using on trailer used in fresh water so chrome finish should last awhile. Fits the 2.5" width of receiver with 1/4" to spare. Arrived faster than first estimated- coming from Washington state to NE by ground.
